Great bright lights and easy to install.

I purchased these LEDs to upgrade the light boxes I use to start my seedlings indoors. I was previously using 8W T5 fluorescent bulbs and they worked very well, but these LED fixtures have proven even better so far. The attached picture shows both the new and old 40W light boxes side by side, on the left and right respectively. LED benefits: - Can illuminate roughly double the surface area with the same light density - Run significantly cooler - Are lighter and easier to handle - Cost significantly less than fluorescent fixtures So far the plants have done really well under these lights, and I expect them to provide sufficient lighting until the plants are transitioned outdoors in another month or so. Yet to be seen is how long these LEDs last. While the fluorescent fixtures are more expensive, the bulbs last 3 seasons or more and are very cheap to replace. Once these LED fixtures die, there's nothing to do but throw them away, and I hate to be wasteful. I will try to update this review if longevity or effectiveness prove to be an issue, but so far these LEDs have excelled as grow lights. ***UPDATE MARCH 2025*** I’m now on my 7th season using these lights and they’re still going strong. No issues at all, I even expanded my setup and bought another set. I’m very impressed with their longevity and my seedlings always end up happy and strong.

So far so good. I planned on installing 3 of the 8 pack in my closet but I only needed 1! Very bright (but not too bright) and seems like true 4000K. It's not blue or yellow, just good natural white. Going to install some of the others under my cabinets.

Bought my second set of lights 3 years after buying the first set. In those 3 years about half had burnt out which kinda sucks (and the reason to knock off a star) but when working they're wicked bright and really easy to set up. I have them in my insulated, but unheated, garage and maybe the rare occasions when it gets below freezing caused some of the reasons but who knows.

Amazing product for the price point. Excellent value. I bought these for aquariums gave me the light I needed and helps plants grow better although its not a plant light it did increase my plant growth

Great product that offers several options from direct wiring into existing electrical supply to plugging in with cord that has switch. Can also string multiple together using supplied cords. I required all options for installation replacing fluorescent lights in a friend’s home. Loved the easy mounting clips for installation on drywall. Great value!

The hard wire sections are a bit short. You can’t cut the connecting cables in half and use the connecting cable to hard wire it because that only has two wires in the cable. Other than that, would definitely get again. Very bright and easy to install.

I have a set of 4ft, and a set of 2 ft lights like this. I use the 2ft ones in my kitchen. They fit perfectly on the inside of my cabinets and under my cabinets to keep things well lit. They are definitely very bright! I've had the larger ones for months and they stay on 24/7, I've not seen any of them lose any brightness, or break/die so far. I only installed these 2 ft. Ones yesterday but I have no reason to think they won't last as long as the bigger ones. Of the 8 big ones I have 1 set of 4 lights daisychained (1 plugged into wall, the others plugged in to the light beside it) together, 1 light by itself, and a set of 3 daisychained. Of the 8 short ones I have 4 daisy chained, 2 daisy chained, and 2 leftover that I've not yet found a home for. These come with great little clips that install easily with a single screw, but the options are really endless. I have the inside cabinet ones attached to the shelf with heavy duty double sided tape, I have some attached to my metal shelf system with zip ties. As well as under and over my bed with zip ties. I use the clips for the lights on my ceiling, in my window sill, and under cabinets. I suspect I'm using these for 'off label' purposes, but .. I live in a large building where 'not all' my neighbours are as tidy as I am. I find that keeping my place extremely well lit helps to keep any pests from getting cozy and camping out. So far it's working very well, and certainly makes me feel better.

El sistema modular de las lámparas es bastante bueno, pero la cantidad de luz que dan es muy baja, prácticamente hay que poner 3 lámparas juntas para tener una cantidad aceptable de luz. Por esto no lo recomiendo ya que no rinden como se espera.

These lights were perfect for my kitchen counter. Very easy to install. The color is soft white which worked for us with our beige backsplash. Some people might prefer slightly more warm color.

These lights are very sleek and easy to install, light output is great! A hard wire option would make for a much cleaner Install and look, I don't care for the extention cords that need to be bundled up

We needed to replace our old fluorescent tubes and these lights were perfect for our kitchen. Easy to install and it was awesome they included so many linking options including the ones that allow to connect them side by side without any wires. They are bright and take up a lot less space then my old ones. Very satisfied.
