Niwaki Sentei Secateurs

I love the weight of the product. It feels like it was made just for me and the presentation box it came with and easy instructionson how to care for the secateurs showed me I was valued as a customer. I use it for standard pruning . For thicker wood I would useloppers or a saw. Definitely well worth it.

I use these for pruning Japanese maples and I have found them to be excellent.

I am a professional gardener, bought these as they were recommended. Must say I'm very impressed, they have taken a beating so far! Need sharpening now so have ordered a stone, camellia oil and a crean mate to give them a good once over and should be brand new again! Would highly recommend, you quickly get used to the bottom latch and eventually I've found them much more comfortable to use than felcos.

Bought as a gift for my mother. She hasn't been using them long so I can't speak to their durability, but she says they're excellent. They feel fantastic – they are relatively heavy, made completely from metal with almost no plastic elements, and the action feels smooth and satisfying. The blades are very sharp. Also comes in a nice box and tie bag so perfect as a gift.

These are seriously good and fit for purpose. Hooray! Now the minus. These are Matt black and I lost them for 24 hours because I'd dropped them, on the dark soil and on the shady side of a large bag.Coloured pLastic sleeves as on the more expensive secateurs would make these even better!

I dont own any seccet.....plant cutting things. I do however have a mother that needs a new set and asked for some for Christmas. After reading lots and finding out she didnt want ratchet ones I ended up with these. The write up was convincing. They came in a nice presentation box that was in a canvas bag with the company name on it. Perfect for a present. Even though I wont use them I might need to buy another set........for the gardner ; )

These secateurs are perhaps a little expensive but as the saying goes you get what you pay forI have bought cheaper in the past and my greenhouse is full of them that don’t either work or are blunt
