You need the lightning to headphone jack adaptet that Apple sells for about $9.

i am looking for a pillow in which you can insert a cd that plays someones soothing voice. had one a long time ago.

I have two questions, i was actually going for wireless sound soother headphones, will these help cancel snoring sounds?what type of headband do i use

These do not have any sort of noise cancelling feature. If what you listen to on them is white noise, it will help mask snoring, but the headphones themselves won't do anything to block noise. I had previously purchased a fleece headband/headphone system that is geared for kids here on Amazon. When those headphones (quickly) died, I slid the headphones out and replaced them with these. The headband was designed so that you could adjust both the fit, and the location of the speakers.

Are these loud enough to place under your pillow instead of using as headphones?

My husband uses them inside the pillow case without any problem.
