Schlunder Cake Layer 200g

I ordered 2 of these and I normally love this product. But this was not fresh; it was hard and stale and on top of it arrived broken, definitely not usable as a fruit tart bottom!It is beyond me how you can ship this product in a plastic envelope, which provides zero protection!!Would not recommend ordering; product is not cheap and I expected better.

I was so looking forward to using this tortenboden, but unfortunately it arrived broken, hard as a rock and open on several sides. Not fresh. Not moist, wont purchase from this company agsin! Super sad!

The cake bottom is stale and very dry. Pulled it out of the package and the cake's bottom fell apart. Buy from somewhere else and save $13.00 which is overpriced.

those cake layers arrived on time, looking very good and intact.i had two orders so far, and both were in perfect shape.

This product was hard as a rock and came crumbled in pieces. When this cake is fresh it is slightly more firm than angel cake. Either it was old or not stored right.

This is the worst cake ever to buy. It comes broken in half down the middle and hard as concrete. Along with part of the packaging opened. If your looking to bust out a window then this cake will get the job done. No joke.

I’ve lived in Germany 3 times during my military career and always looked forward to my wife making a strawberry topped sponge cake. The cake was always moist, this one was not. It was cracked and dry. We had to throw it out. I know it’s difficult to ship cakes like this, but we had to try. Too bad it didn’t work out.
