Very easy to install and connect
Ordered this to be used in my 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio and it worked like a charm. For my installation I plugged into the 30 pin connector of my Jaguar and also had to use the USB powered connection. But my iPhone Bluetooth found the Invery right away and connected instantly. I have now been able to listen to my Apple Music, Apple Maps and Audible all through my car's sound system. Well worth the money. Also, the sound quality/clarity is very good.

It works good I'm happy
Works great in my 2011 Land Rover LR4. Does not do calls! But it does do music which is nice. It didn't advertise doing calls, just figured I should let you guys know in case you were buying this for that.

Awesome!
This device is awesome! I have a 2011 Range Rover Sport HSE Luxury and this device works flawlessly with my Harmon Kardon stereo. And, the sound quality is amazing? Way better than Satellite radio. This thing WAY exceeded my expectations. It’s so good! Easy to install and I love how it starts right back up once I start the car again (assuming my phone is with me). And it’s so discreet as it’s small and in my middle compartment. Great product!

Worked for less than a week.
worked great for the first three or so uses. Around the third time, would not connect. "connecting to ipod" - after around 20 seconds "device error". Drove a block, it automatically came on. Was fine for that outing. Fifth attempt a few days later- device error no matter how many times trying to disconnect/reconnect. Really a shame because this is a very useful and indispensable product for many of us. juan star.

Works With iPhone 17/iOS 26 and 2010 Range Rover, but...
The Bovee 1000 I was using for bluetooth streaming in my 2010 L322 Range Rover stopped working when I upgraded to an iPhone 17. This unit worked. While this and the Bovee appear similar, there must be some difference in the hardware. What is not clear in the instructions is that this would not work in the Range Rover without the supplementary USB power, something the Bovee did not require. This unit includes the USB cord and there is a USB plug in the Rover right next to the iPod connection so it it not a problem. If you do not use the additional cord, only the red light on the unit will illuminate and it will not be functional. I do not have enough time with it to otherwise evaluate its performance over time, but once I was able to get it working, it functioned as it should and sounded good.

Shockingly, this works!
One of the things that is terrible about older Jags is that the iPod (note, not "iPhone") connector provides precious little charging current but is absolutely necessary to get music into the car. This changes the equation - it emulates the hard connection perfectly via Bluetooth (including song titles and folder names), which allows you to power your iPhone with a higher-current Lightning or USB-C connection. In general, this connects seamlessly and flawlessly, though occasionally it reverts to playing your music alphabetically (unplugging and replugging rebooted it and solved this problem). Definitely worth the money.

The item arrived quickly and enclosed in a plastic case with instructions. I'm using this adapter in a 2011 Jaguar XKR paired with an iPhone 15 on which I have my iTunes library. I don't subscribe to Apple Music. A bonus that I wasn't expecting is that a short USB to USB-C cable was included (not shown in product photo) that you use to connect the adapter to the USB outlet in the vehicle centre console (in addition to the 30-pin iPod connection) so the adapter powers up each time you switch (or leave) the vehicle's audio on. I was a little skeptical about the sound quality through the bluetooth pairing to my iPhone but the sound is amazing, equal to the onboard CD player in the car. I have the switch on the adapter set to iPod mode, which allows use of the steering wheel volume and track skip (forward and back) buttons. It also displays the music library folders (artist/album/song) on the infotainment display and allows switching between them, and displays the current track both in the Audio and Home screens. I can also play Spotify through the adapter but there is no display on the screens other than current track. If you want to switch playlists on Spotify, that has to be done using the phone. Two small gripes: The volume output could be better; I have to turn the iPhone's volume up to about 80-90% and the car system volume up to at least 50% to get decent volume (especially with the convertible top down). The other inconvenience is that I like to play all the songs in my iTunes library randomly on shuffle. CarPlay allows you to do that and it remembers that setting each time. The Invery adapter however reverts to the alphabetical song listing and the first song in the library each time the phone disconnects when removed from the vehicle, so I have to go into the Music app on the phone and set that to "shuffle" play each time the phone reconnects to the adapter (FYI, the phone pairs to the vehicle and the Invery adapter pairs to the phone). Both are relatively small complaints compared to being able to access my entire song library instead of being limited to the 6 CDs I have loaded at any given time, and with perfectly acceptable sound quality too!

I have this working in my 2010 Jaguar XF, really pleased with the sound quality playing from a Spotify Premium account on my low-spec Android 11 phone. Quick user note, for those just getting started with playing music from a phone - tracks might struggle to play properly at first if you are streaming them 'live' for the first time. This might explain why a few users thought the device itself was dropping out? It's possibly just that you don't have the strong 4G connection you'd need to pull straight from Spotify. Downloaded tracks seem to play instantly and seamlessly. Track names, but not artist names, are displayed on my XF's media screen. Touch screen works on the car display and, of course, directly on the phone. Steering wheel controls work perfectly. Only strange thing is that a playing time ? is shown on the car screen that seems pretty meaningless. Overall, it's great, especially for sound quality.
