ASUS! A GREAT DEAL ON A QUALITY, FULLY LOADED GAMING LAPTOP!
PERSONAL: What can I say? I've always been a huge fan of ASUS laptops because in my and my family's experience they are practically indestructible! Ever drop your laptop and just cringe not knowing what damage you've done?? Not me. Then there's all of the memory: 4/5GB onboard RAM on this insane Nvidia video card, 32GB RAM, 2TB HHD!! This model has the AMD 7 processor, and having the Intel chip is literally the ONLY thing that would make this PC better. But AMD is a long time manufacturer of reliable, high performance PC core processors AND it's the only reason you're getting a solid, screaming fast gamer laptop at this price! The seller delivered it earlier than originally promised and the product/box arrived in perfect condition. I'd but from this seller again.THE MACHINE: Hardly any bloatware at all was preinstalled, and I want to thank ASUS for that! The laptop both closed and open is thin, it's not bulky at all, but it is large (17.3" and scary to watch a 14 yo walk around the house with). The screen is large, light and bright. NOTE: This laptop DOES COME WITH AN ANTI-GLARE SCREEN -- the seller didn't mention this in product description. This actually worked to my advantage because I wouldn't have bought it if I'd have known. But that would've been a mistake. The anti-glare screen doesn't change the experience of gaming or normal everyday use as far as we're concerned. The light up keyboard rotates through all of the colors, or any one of them can be selected. It's a very cool feature and you can download an app to have even more options, which makes it great for girls too. Pink laptops are insanely expensive (RAZOR), or seem to always come with low specs like 4G RAM and 256GB HHD, etc. Well, the colored keyboard and blazing speed sold her on this ASUS instead. Due to the large amount of RAM, the fast AMD 7 core, lightening fast video card and large screen, this ASUS model gives you gaming as it ought to be: FAST and FUN!PERFORMANCE: My daughter plays Fortnite and other highly graphical games and is living the dream right now. I highly recommend this gaming PC for anyone but the hardest of hard core gamers (they build their own). 10/10, you can't go wrong with this incredibly priced ASUS gaming LT!!

Fantastic value. This thing ROCKS !!!
Excellent picture quality. Very fast. Even though it is listed as a "Gaming" PC I do not game very often. I am a professional IT guy. This thing hits ALL the marks. Fast, great graphics, Primary HDD is a 1TB M.2 NVMe. Secondary is a 2 TB 2.5" SATA so there is PLENTY of storage. HDMI out and 3 USB ports (1 USB 2.0) are acceptable. I don't know why the USB 2.0 though as USB 3.0 is backwards compatible. Cooling design is well thought out and is VERY effective. Track pad and L/R (buttons ?) is a little bit different from what I would expect from a higher end PC, (done more for aesthetics and appearance in my opinion) but they function well. Most people will use a Bluetooth mouse anyhow. All in all it is a VERY GOOD rig for a VERY GOOD price. TWO THUMBS UP !!!

Disappointed in ASUS, just like other customers
Like other customers here, I have also had big problems with this laptop. Mine actually still has only less than 15 hours of actual use on it and I have had it for nearly a year. Wanted to install Linux Mint Cinnamon which is a very simple process. However, this laptop is unfortunately garbage. Sent it in for repairs and after a couple months, they sent it back. This is the part they replaced:[90NR02B0-R00010] FX705DT MB._0M/R7-3750H/ASThis is the Motherboard = “MB.” So this means that ASUS has allowed a defective batch of ASUS Laptops to be sold and as far as I know, there is no recall whatsoever for this problem and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When I received the laptop back, it began the Windows installation process and I completed it. Then the laptop indicated that it had only 8% battery life left, so I plugged in the charger which really is about as brand new as you can get, considering I have not had the laptop powered on for even 20 hours since purchase. The laptop did not charge at all and charging was not a problem before I sent the laptop in for repair. The laptop is now completely dead = it is a very expensive $1,123.49 brick. For anyone who is considering buying any ASUS products, parts or services, Beware of the ASUS Return Policy:“Do note that under the ASUS warranty policy, we do not provide brand new replacement units. The recertified unit comes direct from the manufacturing site and has not been used by any customers but may have new and/or remanufactured parts inside the unit however we cannot classify it as a brand new unit since these are warranty units that are not intended for resale. This is also standard or common practice for most electronic devices when utilizing the manufacturer’s warranty. We currently do not have any stock of your model for replacement. So what we will typically do is check our inventory to see what models we do have that are comparable in price, performance, and features. Once we have one or more models found we will email you the information of each model You can then choose one of the models or reject them. If you reject, we will need to wait for other models to become available to offer. There would be no ETA on this process as or inventory changes daily.”This is a direct quote from the ASUS employee who is/was handling the Better Business Bureau complaint that I filed, so... “buyer beware”. You buy a $1,123.49 brand new laptop... and can instead end up getting a "Frankensteined laptop with used parts in it". Take note of that last paragraph and realize that this process could actually take Many Months or even over a Year, for a similar acceptable product to become available, for ASUS to finally send to you. Is that something that is acceptable to you? It is Not acceptable to me.Motherboards don’t just go bad in brand new computers, they are Defective from the Factory. While ASUS did replace the motherboard for free, it cost me money to ship the unit to their repair facility and I should Not have to pay for shipping to get their Defective Laptop fixed. Based on the other negative reviews here, it is clear that ASUS has Not addressed this known problem for all the other consumers who bought their products and just gave up and threw their laptops away or are just gathering dust. ASUS should be required to issue a Product Recall on all of these units and make things right for their customers. This is the first time I ever bought an ASUS computer of any type and it is my last. I will also not buy any other ASUS products again... Extremely Disappointed with the quality of ASUS products and their lack of quality control and their customer’s problems resolution system. The Better Business Bureau has helped me as much as they could and I am grateful for their help. My next steps are to file complaints with the California Department of Consumer Affairs and the Federal Trade Commission. By the way, do you know that the Better Business Bureau does not display all the complaints that they have received against ASUS? They receive so many, that the BBB only displays 25% of the complaints that people have filed against ASUS. If they did display the total of complaints, guess how many you would be able to see and read? Just shy of 2,000 complaints! And that is only from the people who know about the Better Business Bureau and took the time and effort to try to get help for their defective ASUS products. Interesting huh...?If you have also had a problem with ASUS, post your review here, as Amazon Reviews are a Great resource to let people know that a specific company is, or is Not (cough cough!) treating their customers respectfully. I believe that ASUS has become one of those companies that have just gotten so large, that customer satisfaction isn't in their Top Ten List of "good business practices" anymore for them to follow.

It's beautiful but.....
Bought this laptop and was crazy super excited. It worked like a dream and was beautiful! The games were crystal clear and ran like a dream!4 days later it bricked..... it did an update on the middle of the night. When I woke up it was stuck on the asus opening screen. It wouldn't go past that no matter what I tried. Returning it now, but I plan on buying another.

Great Value
With 1TB pcie SSD, 32GB memory and 2TB HDD coupled with Ryzen7 CPU this laptop is a great value. Bought this for my grandson who is a gamer and doesn't really like the idea of gaming on a laptop. Now he is completely sold on this laptop. He tells me all the time what an amazing machine this is.
