The bars I received were close to expiration so it may have affected the flavor which was not as I remembered. I had this chocolate in Ecuador (Galapagos Islands) and it was amazing. When I saw this for sale on Amazon I bought some. The first shipment was incorrect, and the seller was quick to send me the correct flavor. Did not have the strong smell of roses and lemon that were in the bars in Ecuador. Will not purchase again.

You need to love 100% dark chocolate to fully appreciate Hoja Verde. I do, and what I got in the mail was a pleasant thank you letter from Everglobe for my purchase, a bonus bag of dried fruits, and some seriously delicious pure cacao chocolate.

I am definitely a chocolate connoisseur, I have eaten chocolates every single day since always. A chocolate bar usually last me a day or 2. I have been having this one for over a month. That says A LOT in my family. I love that’s it’s vegan so I don’t want to knock them down but, I would never buy again.

Great flavor! Not too bitter or tannic like other 100% bars. I eat a small square of this every day as a little treat!!

its alright. may cause some heartburn for heartburn sufferers. its a relatively large bar if u eat the whole bar. eating the whole bar in 1 serving probably gives the most benefit.
