This is brilliant for photographing smaller items.The box is simple to put together, although can be a little tricky when trying to get the tabs through the slots. Once together it holds firm and then folds away nicely for storage.The lights are bright allowing for better photography, and there is a handy opening at the top for your phone or camera should you want Birds Eye images.The backdrops come in a number of colours. I’ve used the white, it was easy to attach however does have a slight shadow along the edges where the box is viable through the material.Really good value for money, easy to use and exactly as described.

This came next day on amazon prime and i was shocked by how good the quality was! It is so affordable and well worth the money for product photography. You ca adjust the brightness of the light easily on the remote and the backgrounds are also good quality, they are foam type fabric. It is so easy to assemble and has a USB port at the end. Definitely recommend for good quality photos at an affordable price.

I've had this box for about 6 weeks now, but have only used twice; I was looking for something to allow me to do indoor photography seeing as I can't get out to do landscapes as much as I'd like at the moment. Overall, I am impressed with how it performs.A couple of (hopefully balanced!) points to be aware of in terms of design and lighting:DesignThe box is a decent size, and easily fits back into the bag after use. It's surprising how many products don't, so this a great win!It's relatively easy to put together, and comes with instructions on which way to fold back up to minimise space - an excellent addition as it halves the size of doing it the "wrong" way! This said, the popper in the middle of the side is slightly misaligned to the hole in the side piece (it lies more towards the edge than the middle), which is a minor inconvenience when putting together... it still very much does the job.The white plastic the box is made out of seems to attract hair / fur, which can be a little hard to clear. But the foam inserts cover much of this. I've only used the black background, but there are also white, blue, yellow, red, and green inserts included in the price. The backgrounds are also quite easy to "hang" onto the catches at the back of the box.Finally, I really like the option to shoot from the top as well as "head on"; it allows for a lot more flexibility.LightingThere are two LED strips, and a mini-USB attaches to the right of the top one (as you look at the box). It's worth being aware that the other end of the cable is a USB, so you will an adapter to plug it into the mains.The lead comes with an on/off switch, and a remote to control brightness; a huge win, particularly for the price. Under any brightness level, you'll probably want to be using a tripod for your camera (if you're not using a camera phone) as the shutter speed will probably need to be quite slow (unless you're comfortable with a high ISO).The strips are perfect for "duller" objects, such as the coin in my first picture. However, they result in clear reflections on shinier objects like glass or bubbles (see second picture). I mostly got around this by making my own defuser from tissue paper attached with masking take about 2 inches below the LED lights. I'm quite pleased with how this worked for messing about with photographing bubbles (photos 3 and 4).Despite being low wattage, the LEDs do get quite warm, so I would make sure that you don't put anything flammable too close to the lights themselves. It does cool down quickly though.Overall, this is great value for money - you may remove some of the small issues by going for a more expensive model, but if you just want something to play around with / ad-hoc use, I think this is an excellent product!

This product works great. It has LED lights which the brightness can be adjusted from dim to full brightness, these work well and make for a very bright light box. It works great for taking photos of small products such as resin keyrings. It comes with different colour backdrops which include; white, yellow, blue, black and red. It has a hole at the top which is really useful for taking photos of products from birds eye view. It folds down nicely and is easy to store because it comes with a small fabric bag. I would recommend this product if you want to take nice photos of small items.

This product for £14.99 is not a bad buy, however you do get what you pay for, I plugged in the lighting and the connector came off the light strip, it’s very delicate, I did glue it back on and seems ok. The lights are very good and shooting various models resulted in good outcomes. So for the price it does it’s job quite well, however perhaps spending a bit more on this kind of product would have been a better option.Don’t be put off it’s great for the price but treat it with care.

Absolutely amazing bit of kit. Purchased it to take photos of jewellery and small items to put on my parents new website. I thought for the price that it wouldn't be that great but I was wrong! The instructions to put it together and where to plug it in could be a little more in depth, but once you get it working it's great. It's nice and sturdy and holds it's shape well. The light is really bright and so easy to adjust with the dimmer clicker. The interchangeable backgrounds are great too. I found that some silver items were difficult to photograph on a white background, but looked really good when I switched it with the black background that is supplied with the product. Overall I have been pleasantly surprised!

It does not correspond to the images any more as the design was changed. They were clearly trying to save on materials, so now there are only four push bottoms at the top and the bottom. This leads to an edge inside the box which prevents the foam backdrop from lying flat. I used to have the original version which did not have this issue.The cable is also shorter and does not have a switch any more – although shown in the photo. I shall return this.

Overall, the product quality is great and easy to assemble. The plastic is robust and does not feel apart. The colour backings are made from thick material, but you must be careful when attaching them to the back. The size is small, especially if you are using a rotating table and should be taken into considerable
