These are actually excellent. I got them to use for highlighting in my Bible for my notes and scriptures when I preach. Glad I did! I have no idea why or how they work, but they definitely work!One caution: when you erase, don't overdo it, meaning don't go back and forth too many times without a pause... it doesn't take much, and if you do then the paper gets wet from the erasing and it could look a little "smudgy" in that case.These magi pens are very well worth your investment

I had high hopes and was excited to try the erasable because I am forever highlighting the wrong thing, or using the wrong colors with my color coding, and so I thought this would be an easy way to help with that. The fact that they erase is great for places that didn't need to be highlighted, but if you make a color coding mistake and need to erase and then highlight in a different color, these do not work. You cannot go back over an area you have erased with a different color, so that is a big disappointment for me.

I purchased the pastel colored highlighters after receiving a free regular turquoise one during back to school season last year. I loved it. I bought a whole pack this time around and they are fantastic. The pastels are more readable than the regular colors in my opinion and less harsh to the eye. If you've read the other reviews, in the regular pack, the yellow can only be erased with the yellow marker's matching "eraser" end. This is not the case with the pastels. All of the eraser ends work with all of the colors.Furthermore, if you use them on top of Crayola's "color changing note pens" it also makes the pens change to their faded colors while also erasing your highlight! These are amazing and I cannot recommend them enough!

I had high hopes for these highlighters. I was looking for something in a sheer pastel color, and when I saw that they were erasable, considered that a huge bonus. Had I spent more than $5 on them, I’d be sending these back, as the blue is a dark royal blue- nothing resembling a highlighter. I made the mistake of using the blue first in a brand new book- YIKES. So dark that there’s no seeing through it to read or review- it looks like I just used a regular Crayola marker! Another downside is that these “highlighters” show HEAVILY through the page- once you highlight one side of your page, expect to see color bleeding through on the opposite side when you turn the page. The closest thing to consolation is that the eraser does seem to get rid of most of the offending ink- but not so much that you can entirely undo the marks. I wouldn’t recommend these to a child doing their homework, let alone to an adult or professional. Anyone with OCD or issues with fussiness will want to burn anything these highlighters touch (no, I’m not exaggerating). Do yourself a favor and go with Zebra brand midliners or Sharpie brand highlighters instead. Heck, go to the DOLLAR STORE instead- you’ll get better results with almost ANY other brand. These things are absolutely unsalvageable.

I went searching for these in store after my first set was used up and could not find them, so I was ecstatic to find them on Amazon. They are amazing for anyone wanting pastel highlighters. The color is sheer enough to see the text underneath, but does not bleed through. They really do erase, but once you erase you cannot highlight over the same spot. I used them in my college organic chemistry class to identify different parts of molecules. They lasted a very long time. Definitely worth it!

idk why these have such bad reviews, these are SO good. like them way more than the pilot frixion. everything that says light before it comes in this set, and they're definitely pastel. pen using is the jetstream and there's absolutely no smudging immediately highlighting. honestly love these

I bought these highlighters for nursing school. I’ve had them for months now, they continue to highlight just as well as they did when I first used them. The only problem I’ve had are the “eraser” part keeps crumbling a little after using them, but they continue to work really well.
