Wow
Two seconds of having these on I realized I had made the right choice. The bass really IS amazing. Wasn't sure to expect by that promise... but these just may be the best pair of headphone/earbuds I have ever owned. Since I am using them on my laptop most of the time I don't really mind that the volume controls supposedly don't work on android devices. I haven't tried them on my phone yet, but from information retained from a post in a forum I understand that the mic will work, and you can use the center button to answer calls (assuming possibly to change tracks as well), but that the volume control does Not work if using with android device. Not a huge deal to me to just use the side buttons on my phone; but that is just me. In my opinion the sound quality is well worth it. Additionally these are my first pair that feel like they actually Fit. I didn't realize how much I had to be careful with my last pair or how many times a day that actually happened until there was no need to do so. It's kind of sad how use to how crappy my old pair was. I have had other skull candy brand buds before and was skeptical to come back because of mixed reviews of how well they hold up over time or break over a short amount of time... I think that it all depends on how well you take care of them. No brand is going to last forever; sounds pretty unrealistic to even hope for such a thing. *Note that this pair comes with it's own storing case. I will update this post if I find any weird/unexpected problems with connecting to my HTC One S (T-Mobile). Stop thinking about it; just get them already!!! :D

Do yourself a favor and buy something else
The Skullcandy Fix In Ear Headphones are better than the Apple earbuds and other headphones but the Fix headphones are not worth the price. Packaging was nice and would make it seem like the product inside would be the same. Skullcandy is usually very bass oriented with weak mids but these headphones are suprisingly balanced. Mids and highs are clear and sound well. However it's not all sunshine. Unlike other Skullcandy, out of all the drivers, it's the bass I'm dissapointed with. With the MSRP at $70 I expected better; something with more punch. I have a pair of $15 earbuds and comparing both of them, the Skullcandy only does a marginal amount better.I will give a point to Skullcandy for one thing. These fit really well into my ears. They're no sports earbuds but when I exercise, they stay secure and snug. They haven't fallen out once. You'll be okay if you go to the gym, lift weights or take a light jog but sprinting is something I wouldn't recommend. In conclusion, bass is unusally weak but mids and highs are good. They're an okay alternative for the expensive atheltic earbuds but for the price, I recommend doing a bit more research to buy something else. I bought the Panasonic RPTCM125A Headphones. They're super cheap at $15 and sound amazing for the price. These are the ones I mentioned earlier. While their style may not be as nice, it's the sound that counts.

Perfect fit, but not sweat proof.
These Skullcandy earbuds have been my running buddy since April this year. I needed to increase my weekly physical activity to maintain good health, so I laced up my shoes and started to run. I actually bought and started using these in 2012, but never road tested them. On the run, I found that these were perfect for me. My longest run to date is 9.2 miler and I didn't even have to jam them back in along the way - they just stay put. I can't remember if this set came with a clip or not, but use a clip to attach them to the back of my shirt collar. Then the wire runs to my right shoulder where my iPhone is holstered in an armband. The armband has velcro loop to secure the extra length of cord. THE ONLY THING I don't like about these earbuds is that, they aren't sweatproof. The controls died when I got all sweaty on one of my runs. The controls never came back, but I still use these on my run to listen to music. Volume up and down on the phone. However I can't answer any calls.I am in the hunt for a new pair of earbuds, Skullcandy?? Can you guys make these sweat proof?

I would recommend these to anybody.
I ordered these buds expecting the same as my other pairs of high end skull candy buds. Extremely good quality. And the somehow exceeded my expectations. In reality, 7stars. These are the best I had. From inked to 50/50s. These are the best of the best. And I expect to have them for a long time, like my other pairs, around 1-2 years. I ride my bike everywhere, and other than the usual cable management, they stay put, produce great sound, the bass is amazing, and the mistimes are great.

BUYER BEWARE: DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS THROUGH AMAZON
Break very easily. Returned first pair, had to pay for shipping. New pair broke as well in just a few months... So I bought a "much cheaper" pair of JVC's and have been strong for about a year without any problems... Either Skullcandy is crap, or they found an outlet for slightly our of spec product (factory rejects) through Amazon.. After all, how is Amazon going to know....

Liked them for the first month...
I had a previous pair of these that met their demise with hedge shears when gardening, so I naturally bought the same pair I liked. This new pair lasted about a month before the microphone/control buttons sporadically ceased to work. I thought it was moisture from working out, so I put them in a bowl of rice every time I wrapped up a workout. Didn't really make a difference, since then (2nd month of use), the buttons have completely stopped working and often are stuck in the volume up position, which makes them useless. I wouldn't recommend these if you sweat at all, now off to find a new pair of ear buds.

Great headphones
I gave these a try after hearing great things from a friend at work... they did not disappoint! These are great in-ear headphones and stay in place while you move around, yet come right out without having to pull hard at all.The sound is awesome... great lows (bass), but not too much. They produce a very clean and crisp sound.I would highly recommend them!
