Good Performance for a Knockoff
I have always hesitated to try knockoff batteries, but the name brands have gotten so costly that I decided to give it a go I was pleasantly surprised to find that these batteries hold a pretty decent charge. After putting them to heavy use all season, I did notice that their battery life will likely be a bit less than their big name counterparts, but it's still pretty darn good in the long run. Surprisingly, I found that I prefer sacrificing a small bit of performance in exchange for a few extra bucks in my wallet. When you need replacement batteries for lawn / power equipment, I recommend giving these batteries a try.

Perfect fit
Works as it should. Charges quickly and holds a charge for a decent amount of time. I can finally use a drill that wouldn't hold a charge and it also works for the weed Wacker that I lost the battery to.

Surely last a long time and they do fit.
I waited to post a review of these B&D 18v batteries. Though, normally the original batteries that came with my tools (drill/driver, leaf blower, weed trimmer/edger and pole chainsaw) all had 2 contacts these new batteries have 3 but do not interfere with fitting in my tools. So far so good.Next is run time. WOW! Weed trimmer/edger was first to get the test. I used it to actually mow down a patch of grass and ground ivy right to the dirt measuring 36' x 16'. Then proceeded to trim around the house and 2 car garage, finally getting to mow under my grape arbor and battery #1 started losing power. Total runtime for first battery: 54 minutes. My original batteries would take 4 charges to get all that done. I started using the second battery to finish the arbor area. 6 minutes.Next project was the pole saw. So far, I have trimmed out 2 maple trees and cut up some 4" and less branches for firewood. I estimate 40 minutes of runtime and still have full torque.These batteries have proven, so far, to be a great purchase.
