Hampton TV Stand in /Oak

I was misled by all the 5-star reviews. This unit is too heavy to be shipped by FedEx as a single package. Thankfully I was at home when it was delivered. I watched as the driver got the package to the front of truck and let it crush other packages on the floor. I took over and removed it from the truck without further damage. Product was well packaged and had no damaged pieces. However, as I assembled it from very poorly illustrated instructions I discovered: 1) doors fit poorly; 2) drawer would not close as the guides were not installed correctly (one side of drawer was about 1/4" higher than it should have been due to guide placement causing the drawer front to hit the shelf above it and not allow it to close); 3) when I got to the instruction to screw the feet in, the inserts they were to screw into were not there. The only thing there was, was a 1" hole for the insert. Of course, at this point, realistically there was no way to return the item.I called Plumstruck and was told they have no ability to ship any replacement/missing parts. They did offer a $15 refund.

Well first off this thing is heavy!!! FedEx just left it on the first floor of my apartment building so I had my boyfriend and a neighbor basically drag it up to my apartment because they were too weak. When I opened it nothing was broken or damaged just the wrong color. I ordered white/oak and received grey. I was not about returning it since I basically tourtured my boyfriend into getting it upstairs I was not about asking him to bring it downstairs into the truck and over to fedex. So I just contacted the company and asked for a partial refund which I got 15% ($48) back the very next day. So I think I'm going to paint it white myself. Putting it together wasn't difficult for there's a video on YouTube on how to do so. Took me a few hours though, since I'm only 100lbs myself and the peices are kinda heavy duty and requires some elbow grease to screw in. I actually had a screw not working properly so I drove to ace and got a replacement for $1. But no big deal I kinda expected at least some screws to not fit properly or something. The finished product though is beautiful! I couldn't have picked out a better TV stand. Love love love it, although grey doesn't match anything in my house once it's painted it'll be stellar! Right now I just have a 32 inch tv on it but a 50 or 55 would be perfect for it!

Great TV Stand but was challenging doing the assembly. Instructions said could complete in 30 to 60 minutes. I'm pretty talented & took me almost 4 hours to complete.

Came damaged twice--huge pain in the butt to have this shipped back and then re-order!!! I finally just settled with the 2nd damaged one and asked for a discount--it is a really nice piece--just a shame UPS beats the crap out of it!!!

The top is not the dark color it shows, it's a lot lighter. I've ordered similar furniture (from different places) and they all looked like the pictures for the dark wood, this one was clearly different. The white part looked the same as the photos, just the top was wrong.

This arrived quickly and in good condition. It took a while to set up, (about 3 hours) but looks great when done. Overall very satisfied!

I feel cheated!!!! I could have bought this item for a lot less but because the measurement stated it was 61.5 I decided to order it. 61.5 t is NOT!!

My husband and I love this tv stand. It matches well with the rest of our furniture.The instructions were very easy to follow and it wasn't too difficult to put together. Took us both about an 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.We love it! It looks very expensive also.Highly recommend It!
