Purchased 3 for cousins on a camping trip, they were the hit of the whole trip. The kids loved them and used them all day everyday! They had so much fun exploring the woods and searching for bugs. Learning about a compas and using the flashlights. It was adorable watching their imagination run wild. They beat these things up and they withstood the throwing and rubbing in the dirt.

Granddaughter loves it

We bought this for our 4 year old toddler and our 11 year old can’t wait to use it too. We’ll be using it for a camping trip for our little explorer. Flashlight and compass works great. May not last too long but fun for kids. I’m happy with it and especially my children.

This kit is not as large as the pictures or price would suggest. The content is not top quality but there’s a lot of items included. The net is small and came with holes by the handle. It could be bigger and better quality.

I saw this survival kit for my 3 yr old Grandson for a birthday present. When he opened it up he was so excited to see what each item did. This kit was perfect for his age and probably kids up to 8 would enjoy it. The flash light uses no batteries you just push the side in every now and then to keep it working. It's also bright. The binoculars even worked, showed things 4 times closer. This kit has so many more items included that are great for him to find bugs, butterflies, and I think he will love catching lighting bugs and check them out with so many fun items that are included in it.

My 6yr old son saved up his money to get a magnifying glass to look at bugs. We looked around and found this set and he was so excited. He has been wearing the bag and carrying around his gear nonstop. It came with SO many awesome things. I especially love the little clear spherical bug grabber thing. He can pick up bugs and look at them without hurting them and then easily release them-way better than tweezers. Love love love! Highly recommend!

I ordered this for a 4-year-old and I'm glad I inspected it before giving it to him! The handle broke off the (flimsy) net as soon as I picked it up, there is a glue smear on the lens of the large collector box rendering it nearly unusable, and for the two small collector boxes, one won't stay closed and one is hard to get open! The binoculars, compass, large magnifying glass, and flashlight seemed good, but I don't think this set is worth it.

The bag has all the fun little items a kid would love at the park or on a hike. Personally I think it's a great deal.
