Brilliant this little computer
I bought two of these, one each for me and my wife. Brilliant little computer, has all the functionality we need. I like how it’s minimalist and looks very neat on the bars. If I had one slight negative, it’d be the that although I can see the screen fine in sunlight, it could do with being a little brighter. But I’m guessing because of how slim the device is, it’d be difficult to fit a brighter backlit screen in it. On the plus side it does mean the battery last ages lolOverall I’m very happy with it, easy to set up and use and it hasn’t failed to register any info through the sensors, even though I use it on a mountain bike that I have to bunny hop etc over obstacles in the woods, the sensors don’t seem to move. I would highly recommend if you just want basic info like speed, distance, odometer, average speed, time etc etc

Stylish and accurate but some usability issues
Certainly does the intended basic tasks well enough and looks neat & tidy.On my hybrid ..which has widely spaced suspension forks.. I thought there would be no chance of fitting the sensor so that it was within the required 5mm of the spoke magnet but even though the sensor had to be angled inward at 45 degrees to achieve that small gap it still works perfectly. Really though, there's no doubt it's best suited to the narrow forks on road bikes. In all cases the extra security of a tiny dab of waterproof adhesive is perhaps wise, to stop sensor or magnet vibrating out of place over time.As for the visibility, although disconcertingly dim when you first examine it indoors (?)it's OK in actual use in normal daylight. The numerals themselves are clear but the symbols representing the different modes are far too small to be of any use whatsoever in the more upright riding position on a hybrid. I manage, though it may annoy you if you changed modes while riding along. No backlight of course so forget trying to look at it on dark evening rides. You can't have everything with a tiny battery. What does really bug me is the highly reflective glossy screen which particularly in the flickering sunlight & shadow under overhanging trees as you ride country lanes makes reading the thing in such circumstances near impossible. A simple anti-glare surface would have helped no end.All in all it's far better than some cheap & nasty ..useless.. no-brand bike computers in that it's accurate and trustworthy (at least when kept away from mobile phones etc), as you would expect from Cateye, but it's certainly not perfect in its current form. Three-and-a-half stars would have been my verdict if possible.

SIMPLE AND STYLISH
Bought this after reading reviews. Needed a replacement for my 15 year specialized that ceased to work. Wanted something simple and easy to use and see. Perfect fit for my Easton handle bar on my mtb and looks very sleek. Fitting was easy and spinning the front wheel worked ist time. At first I thought read out was a bit dull but I was proved wrong. The dial is very clear and the whole set is exactly what I wanted. If you want something that just shows speed, mileage ridden etc I definitely recommend this.

I was more optimistic when I ordered it!
A bit fiddly the setup, looking nice little stylish computer, bit disappointing the display that reflect the light making difficult to read. A big low point for me is the lack of brightness in the dark which make the screen completely unreadable in the dark. I found it pricey for what you get. Small battery, which I believe won’t last long.

Looks great, but didn't last long.
Less than 3 months and suddenly the display went crazy, flashing all sorts of weird characters. Then refused to switch on, bought a new battery for £7 but still nothing. I don't think I'd recommend this.

Quality cyclometer worth the money
This is such a nice quality item. Mounted on the front of the bike easy to read all weathers. I love the way it’s positioned centre and easy to toggle between readings. Stylish and unique. I definitely recommend this. Easy to remove from the mounting bracket too

Looks good, price isn't bad but not great
Aesthetically it's great and clean but it has a poor mechanism for keeping it on the bike that popped off mid ride on a busy road only for a car to drive over it.If you just want to see your speed and time on rides it's a good option but be prepared for it to fall off.

Brilliant but not resilient
Sadly dropped mine on the road from handlebar height and unfortunately this was enough to kill the lcd display. Worked very well up to that point. Doesn’t seem you can buy just this bit as a spare unless anyone has a solution? Other than that easy to set up and fit.
