It's Miracle Putty with a 1000 Uses!
I've used this stuff for decades, it seems (also one called Sticky Tack, which is just as good).Just off the top of my head...1. My car was struck from behind and it broke the small bracket holding one of the rear sensors in my bumper. No problem, just held the sensor in place and put a ring of this stuff around it. It held the sensor which worked flawlessly for about six months until my body shop could get to it. Looked like heck, but worked like magic.2. I have a home made DJ rig built with a milk crate and which includes three wireless consoles. To connect the consoles to the top of the milk crate, I just used a few slabs of this stuff. Totally solid.3. We have a number of phone charging cradles around our home and when you put your phone on and take it off, you don't want the cradle skidding around your desk. Just make a small balls of this, put those balls about 1/4 inch in from each quarter, push down slowly but firmly and -- bam, cradle is firmly fixed on your desk. And if you need to move it, just rotate the cradle slowly and firmly and these will come loose with no damage to your desk.Really, the possibilities are endless and you should always have two or three of these packs around to mount whatever you need. Oh, and they also can be used to mount posters or other lightweight objects on walls. One note, there seems to be some sort of ingredient in this stuff that might mark your walls if you have cheap contractor grade flat paint -- probably in a month or so, in my experience. If you have a good eggshell or satin finish paint, we have not seen any marking. At the normal price of $4.83, it's a solid value, but the current price (as of 4/1/25) it's a steal! (No foolin'!)So, many uses, works great, great value -- Five Stars!

Been using for years and works great
I love Fun-Tak and have been using for years. It lasts for a very long time. I knead it well before taking a small amount to put up a poster or balloons or such. It's great for sticking my Christmas cards on the wall as a bit of decoration and to enjoy during the holidays. Carefully, slowly pulling it off and then using a piece of it to take off any residue works really well. I just push a soft piece of it on any little bits that might be on the wall and push & pull the other parts off. It is reusable for many years. It can get stuck on plain paper though and tear it. It may be helpful to put a piece of tape on the back side of paper and then attach the Fun-Tak to that area - especially if you want to keep the paper or if you want to reuse the Fun-Tak. I would throw out any that has paper stuck in it. One last piece of advice is to wait at least 30 days before using on a freshly painted wall. Hope this helps.

Got this product to help with cleaning Apple Air Pods & Ear Pods
*Disclaimer: This item was purchased for an alternative use (cleaning Apple headphones) and this review is based upon that application and not the original design (hanging items on a wall or other surface). The review is based on its effectiveness on the alternate application.**Pro tip at the end of the reviewI recently purchased a 2 oz. pack Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Putty to help with cleaning the screens on my Apple Air Pods (regular, not Pro's) & Ear Pods after watching some YouTube videos. The online videos were convincing, so I thought I'd give it a try. The Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Putty was very effective in grabbing excess material from the headphones that I could not easily remove with my other tools used for scraping, brushing, etc. Plus, it can stick to small particles that are stuck in the screens themselves from scraping and other cleaning activities. I have tried other tacky materials such as different types of tape to perform this task and Loctite is the best one, I've tried so far. The cost was nominal for 2 oz. of material which is a lot considering the amount you would use for one cleaning (maybe 1/8 of 1 stick from a package of 5 sticks). It is simple to use as it needs only to be kneaded between fingers to make it softer and tackier, before use. One small piece goes a long way.Pros:- you get a lot for your money (for this particular use)- a little goes a long way- non-toxic (per Loctite)- easy to clean up from non-porous surfaces like a desk or countertopCons:- even though Loctite says it's non-toxic, they don't say what's in it (I get that might be proprietary but I think this would be good to know)- If left out where children or animals can find it, curiosity could lead to problems such as possible ingestion or unwanted relocation- will get into porous surfaces such as clothing, carpet, etc., and not want to come out- I could not find any data on what might dissolve this product in the event of unwanted material stuck on a porous surface which is further challenged by not knowing what it is made of.**Pro tip: if you're going to use the product for the same purpose as I did, do not press too hard when manipulating it into the headphone screen as it can penetrate the screen and some material may get stuck behind the screen. This becomes especially more possible the more malleable the material is from softening it up in your hands which is needed for the effectiveness of picking up materials that have been pushed/scraped into the screen. I found that pressing lightly helps the Fun-Tak contact the stuck materials and pressing too hard will infiltrate the screen. If you're not willing to risk this happening, do not use this product for this purpose.

Good non staining non permanent adhesive
We use them to secure stuff on our RVs countertops when we’re on the move. It’s a lot easier than putting everything away then getting them out at destination. We also use them to hold Knick Knacks in place on shelves at home. We’ve found many uses of this great product.

Ok I guess
I tried to use it to hold a plastic floor protector down on a hardwood floor. After a week or two it started to move and the blue adhesive started to break apart . This work good for very very light projects. You might laugh but I have found this holds remote controls on a wall very good so the never get lost, or papers on a wall.
