Coroded escutcheon
I liked that it is keyhole shaped. Otherwise very disappointed. Does chrome plated brass really corrode like this (see photo)? Fortunately the corrosion is on the back of the escutcheon and not the facing side. If the corrosion spreads then the item is not fit for purpose. The seller should check the product before shipping. Otherwise it would be fair to say that the vendor is ripping buyers off buy shipping damaged goods.Due to value of the product it was not worth the journey to return the product via the post office.
