I bought this originally to “collect and display”. The model is very nicely made and has a lot of detail to it. My original intention was to display this on its stand, but when I got the Amazon package and opened it, it looks awesome in its packaged state. With the big display windows in the front and back of the box you can see the top and bottom of the ship, it’s awesome and staying in its original packaging for now. :D As far as the game is concerned, I don’t know, wasn’t planning to know or cared. Now I’m curious. I’ve bought a few of the Empire ships and am planning on a few more that interest me, as well as a few “rebel scum” ships, like Leia’s from episode IV. When I eventually get the Armada Core set and convince the wife of going a few rounds, I may or may not “open” my Empire Armada collection of ships “if” I get hooked. Anywho, love the ship, box was sealed and undamaged! I would recommend waiting to purchase the ships you want until they drop in price, as they sometimes do. I bought this one for $10 in new unopened condition. Will buy more from this vendor.

Use it mainly as a desk decoration but it looks nice as heck doing just that. ISD's are overrated in my opinion but I got the Chimaera that is equally beautiful sitting right next to ship beauty on my desk. Don't even play the tabletop game but kept all its stuff regardless.

I purchase Armada and X-Wing game ships because they look cool, I don't play either game. The ship looks fantastic! The stand for this one does come apart when picked up, but a small amount of glue will fix that.

Although I've played X-Wing, I don't play Armada, so I bought this simply for the model. Like the X-Wing models I already owned, it's highly detailed and well made. It looks great out of the box without any painting or detailing, but there's plenty of potential for anyone who wants to paint their models.

Ship came in brand new, unopened package. The model and ship layouts are completely identical to the one that comes in the core set. the cool thing is that it comes with upgrades for the victory cruiser that doesn't come with the core set. the price was also unbeatable.

3 command, 3 squadrons, 4 engineering, 2 speed and the perfect array of weapons and upgrades to do whatever you need to do. Carrier, close combat, fighter screening, and more. It can do whatever you need it to.
