Works well
This J arm works fine with my PVS14, it is plastic but I would rather have the J arm snap then my helmet mount or heaven forbid, my NVG's. It came with two mounting screws for different threads, so I am covered in that aspect, I haven't had any problems with it so far and I'm will be buying another one just in case mine does break. (walking in the woods without training is taking some getting used to, so better safe than sorry)

It’s good
The media could not be loaded. Was a bit nervous buying this but it works great. Reasonably sturdy.

It's OK
OK so this adapter does work. I think it is important to write things like that. It is designed for right eye dominant. I am using a Sightmark NVD and it connects to that and that connection is pretty tight. Since I also have a Sightmark already mounted on my rifle at night I would be happier if I could use this for my left eye so I wouldn't have to raise it up if I want to use the rifle. I can't see a way to do that unfortunately. The connection of the adapter to the sight is nice and tight. The connection of the Adapter to the helmet mount isn't that tight and there is some (small/minor) wiggle room there. So I'm pretty sure that is too much for some people. I am sure it will be annoying if I have to move a lot while wearing it. I do find you get what you pay for and for my budget this will work for me. It isn't perfect but it will work.

Very cheaply made DO NOT BUY
I used this with my nightstar monocular and it sags under the pressure. The plastic is that cheap stuff that may not be blow moulded but it’s very low quality. It also had to be sanded down as the mould lines were not flush.

Thread pitch is wrong, wobbles in Canis's own mount
I bought the Canis PVS 14 night vision mount only to find out that USGI spec J-arms don't work with it. So I ordered this J-arm that is specifically made to fit the Canis mount. Well it does lock in, but it's still wobbly. I really don't like having a $3000 night vision monocular hanging onto a wobbly piece of plastic. Oh and the thread pitch doesn't even actually fit the threaded hole in a PVS 14. I had to take apart a USGI J-arm and mix the parts around so that I could use a USGI threaded knob with the rest of the Canis J-arm. Basically I made it work, but I now have over $100 invested into a Canis mount and J-arm and it's still wobbly and doesn't feel secure where the mount and J-arm connect to each other. For as much as these cost and given that their purpose is to support $3000-$6000 monoculars, it should all be aluminum and the fitment should be much better.

I must be lucky
This j-arm fits my PVS-14 just fine using the included larger set screw. It locks in just fine with the suggested helmet mount. The complete mourn locks in just fine with my tactical helmet.
