I’m so glad I found these. They are smooth and operate like quality nozzles. I’ve always had these kinds of nozzles since I was a little boy 30 years ago. Recently i had purchased a few of a different brand locally from the hardware store and they were such a disappointment! The shaft was plastic and was bent so it wouldn’t shoot a good stream. To top it off they leaked. A good nozzle with these characteristics that work correctly are not easy to find .

I like them over the plastic ones. they seem to hold up better.

Cheap but durable

The nozzle is smaller and more lightweight than expected.

At first glance you'd think these are cheaply built (and they are) and won't spray out the most consistent stream of water (which they don't), but they work and they're probably the cheapest adjustable water hose nozzle you can buy on amazon. The feel like they're cast aluminum or pot metal, painted black...the body is extremely sturdy and doesn't feel like it'll ever have any issues, the spray trigger is just pressed sheet metal and could probably be easily bent...or repaired depending on how you're looking at it. The actual spray mechanism isn't the best, but it sprays water as expected and doesn't leak any water when you're not depressing the handle. You can also adjust the spray pressure and there is a cheap little wire to hold the trigger down, nothing fancy but it works....and it's affordable.
