This has saved me countless hours trying to figure up measurements in my head. It worked as it should simple instructions on how to use it and it has been a lifesaver on my landscaping projects. Perfect length to hold in hand and not have to bend to measure. Works for hours without recharge and accurate to the centimeter. We have used it in many applications and carry it in the bag with us throwing it in and out of the back of the van so it has been durable theoughout. Lightweight and easy to carry along with your other tools.

The first one I received had a noticeable crack in the measuring wheel but I returned it the next day and received a replacement within three days. The new one has no defects and works fine. The problem I have is that the user's manual, which is very brief, was written by a person not fluid in English and and is hard to implement. I have not yet figured out how to consistently set intermediate waypoints for segments of a lengthy measurement that I can retrieve at the destination. I'm sure it can be done and I'll eventually figure it out. It is very accurate, measuring exactly 1/2 mile at the end of two laps on the inside lane on the high school track. It is also durable: I've used it twice on a mile long path through the woods with many ups and downs and roots and stones to contend with and it did not seem to faze it. Long term durability I cannot address. It is light weight and easy to hold. The surface of the wheel grips the ground well without sliding or spinning. I expect it to meet my needs well.

The handle is very comfortable and the digital screen is great.. my one con, is the cheaply made stand. It's very flimsy and isn't sturdy enough to counter the weight of the ergonomic handle, therefore almost every time I thing it's balanced and ready to stand, I walk away and it falls. Time after time. Overall it's a good product with one annoying defection. If the stand is improved, it'd be perfect.

I bought this and it worked for about a month. I changed the batteries thinking that was the issue but the display never lit up again. As an appraiser, I need a reliable wheel and thought this one looked good based on other customer reviews but it definitely is not.

Very helpful for a work that im doing

I purchased this tool to measure the length of new fence. We live in a heavily-wooded area with lots of changes in terrain and slope. It performed admirably under these conditions. I like how the measuring tool folds up to compact size and comes with a carrying case . Considering the way used I used, I'm glad I chose the digital model over the mechanical equivalent. The larger display is very helpful and does not jitter in the worst of conditions. As usual with many products today, the instruction brochure was puny in size and not well-written. The battery pocket was not easily found and battery size (2 AAAs) was nowhere mentioned. Despite this blind spot, I would purchase it again and recommend it to others.

Good quality measuring wheel ,

I picked up this digital measuring wheel to measure on the job sites. On the positive side, it extends to a really nice height, so I don't have to hunch over to use it comfortably. The digital screen is fantastic and allows for different units of measurements. it's very clear and easy to read while you are walking. However, I was pretty disappointed that a tool costing over $70 doesn't come with batteries. It really doesn't feel like that is advertised clearly enough on the product page, and it's frustrating to unbox a tool at this price point only to realize you can't use it right away - which I originally thought it was broken like another reviewer only to discover it missing batteries. As for the build quality, it feels okay out of the box. The clasps feel like that will be then first point to break. But for now It definitely works fine for my current projects, but compared to other non digital measuring wheels I've used in the past, I'm a little skeptical about its long-term durability
