Perfect thin Solder
Item is perfect. not a lot of cleaning needed, but a little cleanup needed for the Flux Rosin core. other than that it is easy and a breeze to use. Makes for easy fixing of those smaller components that take less time to heat up. Perfect for the price!

Worked perfectly, to solder a fan back on the motherboard in a Mac Mini
This was a bit of a life-saver. I had taken my Mac Mini apart to discover what my upgrade options were (a disappointing experience, to be sure), and my disappointment was punctuated when I realized I had inadvertently removed the housing for the fan connection from the motherboard. I don't know if it was ever properly soldered in the first place, but I knew that without the ability to cool, it would not function properly. I have very little soldering experience, but after watching some videos, and using this solder, I was able to get it working again. The connector had 4 pins, and I knew I needed something super thin, to avoid spilling over to the neighboring pins. And gratefully, by the grace of God, I was able to get it working. Happy with this purchase.

Just what I needed.

Great for SMD work
Because it is so thin, this solder works very well with SMD components, which are very small and require less heat than thru-hole components. Together with a conical tip soldering pen and a lighted hands-free magnifying glass, SMD work becomes much easier.

It’s super thin which is nice. Melting point is higher than advertised. That it’s it’s my soldering iron. Good for keyboard builds.
