I primarily use this as an action camera. I know that it is not the same as a GoPro, but when it comes to VR it is well worth it and I have been very happy with it. While riding Mountain Bikes, at first I would mount it on top of my helmet, but when watching the video, you pretty much are only interested in the forward view, so I started shooting in the 180 mode, which makes the picture quality so much better than any 360 camera (that I have tried). I am not sure about another person's issues connecting to the app. I have had no issues with that . The desktop app is so simple, that you almost feel like it doesn't do anything until you quickly understand how it works.I am mostly happy with how well it does image stabilization. I doubled it up with a gimbal and it is unreal even on super bumpy off road riding.

I have shot a bunch of videos and stills with this new camera and I'm blown away, the possibilities are endless. Shots that I can't ever get with my digital SLR camera and shooting video in all 360 direction I'll never miss any of the action. I did my homework before buying this camera and folks were saying in reviews that it was cheap because it was made of plastic. Well ya this thing is as light as a fether, I can hold it 3 feet out on a selfie stick for as long as I need to and I have yet to worry about the battery running low. I did have to upgrade to a new phone to install the app but I see no other way to design a 360 camera, a screen would just get in the way of the 360 views. Remarkable technology I would highly recommend the Insta360 EVO.

Check out the reviews for the Android in app in the play store before you purchase. Lots of problems connecting to this camera. I also was upset because they promised me a free selfie stick and didn't deliver.Not Recommended.
