KOHLER 1025329-CP Left Trip Lever Service Kit Genuine Part, Polished Chrome

Over the past few years I kept replacing my toilet parts with generic components, and I was stuck having to manually press down the lever and then lift it back up to drop the flapper. I finally decided to switch to all Kohler-brand parts to get my toilet working like new again. Once I found my model number, I ordered all the correct parts, including this lever kit. The instructions weren’t the clearest, it includes a photo, but it doesn’t really show how everything should be positioned (order wise), but I figured it out. There was definitely a learning curve. I initially installed the lever the wrong way, put the tank lid back on, and realized the lever was hitting the underside of the lid when I tried to flush. I reversed it and it worked perfectly. It was also a little hard to get the screw in at first, so I pre-threaded it before attaching the lever. After that, installation was straightforward. I’m very happy with this genuine replacement: it sits securely and snugly against the tank with no wobbling, and the flush feels smooth and reliable again. The knob is shiny and sleek!! (looks much nicer than the plastic handle I had on there before. ) Totally worth going OEM for this part. Getting my toilet working as it should is very much worth the very reasonable price for this part.

The original was a similar line whose handle was pronlematic from the get-go, many years ago. After exhaustive research and digging, I determined that this one would fit the odd angle of the original, more costly flush handle. It does, thank goodness! Flyshes like a champ every time. Funny how the small things can make life so much more enjoyable.

It Is heavier and better quality than I expected. I had a universal one that didn’t fit correctly and caused it not to flush properly. Now the toilet works perfect!

If you have this model Kohler toilet and you need a replacement, get this one rather than a universal lever. The Kohler toilets require all the twists & turns to fit & work properly.

the toilet itself is fine, provided i replace this part which wears out periodically. too much plastic which causes the wear. not covered under warranty after the first 2 replacements.

Received the product on time and it was packaged well. Followed the instructions and installed it within 5 minutes. Additional washers are provided in the package.
