Great switches. Easy to connect. Works great….

My Bissell Pet Eraser vacuum was starting to get quite warm while using it and there was a faint burning smell. Then the power button got mushy and then stopped working. I called a vacuum repair shop and they said Bissell doesn't sell the button and I'd have to replace a bunch of stuff. I said, "Well screw it, I'll try to fix it, I've got nothing to lose," and I found similar black circular switches available online (not from Bissell). After some struggles finding the right screws to take out to get to the switch (you have to pry out the wand release lever first) I was able to get the switch out. I found out the little "sock" insulating the ground wire was toasted. I then searched Amazon and found this set of 5 switches that also came with wires and replacement clear insulation bits, which I clearly needed to replace. The install was super easy using wire strippers/crimpers and a blue connecty bit a friend gave me. The wires that came in this set were actually thicker than the ones in the vacuum, so I have confidence they can handle the power. The wire prong ends slide securely over the switch and if you squeeze the right spot they come out easily too. Now my vacuum works good as new! $7 and a few hours to fix a $250 item? Great deal! Highly recommend this set if you need these black circular switches, it's a great price for everything you get. The first picture of the switch from the outside is the new one, the inside picture and the burnt sock are from the old, broken one.

Works perfectly! Only uses a single path so it’s super easy to set up: cut a wire at a middle point and then connect each end to one of the prongs on the switch. It’s a bit bigger than what I wanted (my bad, I should have checked the posted size info), but it’s a reasonable size for smaller devices (the switch is about 1/2” in diameter). I use this switch for turning on and off my portable computer build. It’s very important that the amperage going into the Buck converter is 5A or else the computer won’t get enough power to run properly. An issue I ran into early on was cheap switches not keeping a steady enough current, leading to low power warnings and poor performance. No such issue with this switch. I hooked it up and it worked no problem! This switch also appears to be pretty decently durable. A big concern with electrical components is whether they heat up when in use and if that heat can potentially damage the protective casing. I was in a rush and used a strong lighter for my shrink tubing. I got a small bit of smoke from on of the wire casing, but the plastic casing around the switch still looks brand new. Didn’t even warp. I will have to see how it holds up after prolonged use, but so far I am very happy.

Barely over a $1 a peice. 100% worth it for someone like me who flips and builds mini bikes. Works great, have em on my mud tractor and their covered in mud but work like new. Definitely worth the price
