Functional and great value

I bought two pairs, pink and blue. When I opened the box, I was so happy to see how pretty they were! The colors are lovely and they are so light to wear. My peripheral vision is not blocked because the wire frame is thin but strong. I love that the lenses are half sized so I can read what’s in front of me but be able to look up and see clearly without having to adjust the glasses. These are so much more feminine and pretty than others I see at some pharmacy stores. By the way, in the pic, I bought the chain separately.

When these arrived, I was concerned because of the poor packaging. Each set of glasses was inserted into in a soft case, and they were shipped in a soft envelope. That clearly didn’t make sense to me, I mean, come on, these are eyeglasses being shipped in the midst of hundreds of other packages on a truck! That said, I can’t say enough good about these readers. I have 8-10 pair now (I lost count) in all the colors! I pair had an unevenly set nosepiece, which I returned. After my cataract surgery, I still needed something for reading. I’ve always been sort of a frame snob, so my search for cute or fun frames led me to order several readers, on the hunt for the best ones. Most of those, I’ve returned for various reasons. These half-frame readers fit my criteria perfectly. The comfort level is great, giving me a comfortable feel. They are very light weight, and surprisingly durable. The lenses are nice and clear, unlike some that come with cheap plastic that gives me a headache. The frame colors are really nice, I have them all except the orange and yellow ones (different sellers sometimes offer different color choices) Having no frame at the top of the lens is perfect for watching TV while having your phone in your lap. They rest midway down your nose, so you can easily watch tv without an annoying frame hitting at your line of sight. Going to the grocery store with these readers allows me to read labels without taking readers on and off aff through the shopping experience which makes shopping so much easier. I’m short, I love these readers!!

These glasses are excellent for close-up work, magnifying beautifully. They fit a small head. The one drawback is that plastic cushions on the metal temple pieces over each year are slipped on, not glued in place. Therefore, they move. I like to wear my glasses on top of my head when not in use, and bring them down when I need to see close work. When I pull these glasses off, those plastic cushions tear my hair out of place.

I had cataracts removed and needed only near sight help but hated the readers with the frame showing on the top. I have worn progressive lenses for 25 years and just couldn’t adjust to the bar across the middle of my vision. Also the frames seem to get wonky quite easily and I am not one to put my glasses up on my head and pull them down when needed..I even tried the librarian cord holders-really drove me nuts. This particular set of 5 glasses with cases and no visible frame is fantastic. I can keep them on all day without no problems. Great price, good magnification, very light weight-forget they are there. The case fits them snugly taking up less room in my bag or on the car visor. How durable they are, only time will tell. I have however put them thru almost a week of my daily madness and so far…Fantastic. Highly recommended….price point is so appreciated and so reasonable.

I like the halfmoon lens because I can wear them all the time without blocking my regular view. This means I can wear them in the car allowing a clear view of the speedometer, gas gauge, warning lights, etc. The silicone nose pieces are comfortable and nonslip.

The glasses work well for reading. The reason for 3 stars is that the plastic on the end of the earpiece slides back on the frame. When it does this, it pinches my hair in between the end plastic piece and the metal frame and pulls my hair. It gets quite painful. It’s a shame because I really like the glasses. They allow me to read then look over the top of them and see distance without removing them, like when I’m working on my crafts or cooking a recipe from a cookbook.

Excellent eyeglasses. Have some if these already but going travelling so will take an extra pair along. These are surprisingly robust without being heavy and cumbersome
