Aqua Chem 22107AQU/12001AQU 5-Pack Shock Plus Water Clarifier for Swimming Pools, 1-Pound

I am on the fence about this product. I am not quite sure if it worked in my pool or not?? My husband and I used it one week and we didn't see much improvement in our pool water (compared to other products normally used). BUT - in fairness - after using it, we had 3 days of down pouring rain, so it could have been a result of everything getting thrown off with the water in our pool due to the rain. We would like to give this product another try because we like the fact that you can treat the water then swim shortly after. But, it's not a cheap product so we hate to throw away our money if the buy again only to get the same results again. Oh well.

I was tired of blaming my pool sand , the backwash valve and even to an extent to my pool pump. I got my sand changed but still the over expensive local pool shop chemical didn't work. The pool guy who came to change my sand even threw in some free shock but look like even he threw some dirt worthless chemical which couldn't clean my pool.I started to look product online and after reading the reviews I ordered it. Just one packet made my pool sparkle like never before. I would say there are some parts of my pool I am seeing very clearly and for the first time after using this shock.I will use it forever now. You wont be dissatisfied. People who have posted bad reviews might have something else going on with their pool.

This item arrived very quickly and was exactly as described. I would recommend this item for anyone having an above ground pool. Seriously, above all other measures, use 1 pack once a week (18' round x 52" deep) and pretty much all of your worries are gone.I have spent 4 years and an ungodly amount of money on every chemical known to mankind trying to balance the levels in my pool and have never been able to keep it in check. Once I started using a weekly shock treatment everything fell into balance and the pool was crystal clear for the entire season!

I've used this product every year.It's so much easier than constantly messing with a lot of chemicals.I still must test the water but usually it is fine with just this.It has always held up all winter.That makes opening the pool up much easier.This year all we did was uncover it, fill it up with more water and hook up the pump.It was ready to swim in.A great product but I feel I was overcharged.The shipping was too high.

Really like the fact you can put in and then be in the pool in 15 minutes. Great product. Will definitely purchase again next season.

not the best, but good for the price. If you don't want to spend twice the price on other products than this is it for you.
