I've never tried this brand, not even in the swinging 80s, as I was more of a Flex Balsam and Protein kinda gal (RIP) but given the price and reviews and figured it was worth a shot.When I opened the box, the absolutely gorgeous scent of this, even unopened, hit me and I was HOOKED. It reminds me soooo much of how haircare smelled back in the 70s and 80s; very fresh and clean, and oddly addictive.I have naturally ash blonde, fine textured, wavy thick hair. My husband has brown, straight, thick-textured hair, but it works very nicely for both of us. Good clean feeling from the matching shampoo, and this leaves the hair soft without feeling greasy or heavy. I even scrunch it into my dry hair, since I only wash my waves about once every week or so.I'm sold!

I ordered this for my 90 year old Dad. His hair style hasn't changed since 1932. Flat and boring. Had him start using the V05. Now his hair has renewed body and the bounce of his youth has returned. The ladies at the senior living center are all over him, they want to run fingers through his hair all day. This is not a joke. Brad, Matt, Leo, Fabio have nothing on Dad.
