LETO Mini Split Air Conditioner, Heat Pump, White, 18000 BTU

This is my 8th Senville mini split, I converted my home to Senville mini splits after my 20+ year old R-22 heat pumps died over the winter. I have contacted Senville customer service on three occasions, the first time I had questions related to the power options and asked my question through their website. I received a response in less than 24 hours, my questions were thoroughly answered and numerous links to related articles came attached to the response. Very helpful. Second occasion was during a installation and I called ther customer service, I was directed to the appropriate person within a few minutes and I had my issue resolved within a 10 to 15 munute phone call - again very helpful. The third time was email through Amazon - my 18000 btu unit arrived damaged by the carrier. The issue was resolved with two very brief emails and I had a replacement unit on my porch on the second day after I reported the damage. This company is very responsive to customers. The products I have installed - 2 - 18000 btu units and -6- 9000 btu units have all been installed without issue. I shortened -7- of the linesets and lengthened one lineset. No issues. The outside units are robust and run nearly silent, the inside units are practically silent and in heat or AC perform flawlessly. We have a 9000 btu unit installed in our livingroom within 6 feet of the TV - no issues - silent. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company and their product.

This is my 3rd mini split, it went together pretty straightforward. You will need skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC to get the best results. I always pull a vacuum on the lines once the copper pipe is hooked up and then release the Freon from the outside condenser unit which means you need a vacuum pump to do it right. My previous units were pioneer but that brand name isn’t available, this is almost identical with the biggest change being the remote control which is not as well laid out as my pioneer remotes. Otherwise this unit worked perfectly from the start, it is super quiet, cold, powerful, and the controls and calibrations are spot on. These units are so much better than the window units it’s unbelievable, and those hose types are a joke in comparison. Cost is close to double but you get 4x the machine and the smart climate controls and quietness is worth every penny. I’ve had my other units for over a year with zero problems, and the heating ability in winter has relegated our old wall units to the dustbin, no more burnt dust in the air or hugging a wall heater for warmth. Just nice clean heat throughout the room.These also look nice and are far more elegant inside and out. Wish I’d had these years ago.

So it's only been 2 months. I love these things. I do not have an HVAC system. I'm in a 1925 city row home with radiator heats and window AC's. I finally pulled the plug and got 2 in June 6th. I had an HVAC tech install it. Took him(and another guy) 12hrs. One for main floor one for the basement. The basement unit on dry does superb. The unit upstairs is so quiet. There are no hot spots. Not even the kitxhen when frying steaks. It's so damn comfortable that I have to keep it on 78° so as I don't chill. 74 and 76 are too cool.

One of the best and smartest purchases that I have made in a long time. As we all know, the pandemic changed a lot of things with one being how many of us now work from home. I have created an office here in my house but living in Burbank, California it gets hot at times - sometimes up to 110 degrees! While my home has central air, my roommates are at work during the day and I am the only one home. So why pay the sky-high cost to cool your entire house when you are just in a single room all day? My office is also in the rear room and the central air just does not get it that cool - maybe 75 tops if I leave it on all day and set it to 72. Great benefit #1 - Once I installed the Senville Mini Split, everything changed. I set it for 75 degrees and I had a 75-degree room within minutes! One time I was gone in the morning and when I came home the house and office were 85 degrees. I turned on the unit and pushed the 'Turbo' button on the remote and the office (which is about 60 square big) was at 75 degrees within 6 minutes! So now, not only do I have a comfortable work environment, but I am also saving money since I only cool my home office and NOT the entire house. I expect to save about $100 a month which means the unit will pay for itself within two years. Great benefit #2 - One of my job responsibilities is to talk on the phone occasionally. This is SO QUIET that I have to look to even see if it is on. Not only is the unit inside quiet, but so is the outside unit. Great benefit #3 - Alexa! One of the main reasons I bought from this company is that it would work with my Alexa system. My entire house is automated (lights, sprinklers, central air, doors, etc.). So now, after I get up and get ready for my day, I can tell Alexa to turn on the unit and set the office air to 75 degrees. I can walk into the room within minutes and the room is perfect! I can also do this from the car on my way home when it is even hotter in the house. At first, it did not work and I talked with a gentleman named Mike from Senville that I had to have the USB kit for the unit for it to work with Alexa. I got it within days and it took less than three minutes to install it in the unit and have it running with the Alexa system. They make it that easy! (My only advice to them is to make sure they explain that in their description that it is not included and you must get it separately.) I am extremely happy I bought this unit and the company is proactive and stands behind its products. I am now considering buying a second unit for my bedroom. Because it has been nothing but HOT so far, I have not used the unit heater yet but I have no doubt when I do this winter it will also impress me with its features. If you don't use Alexa, this is still an awesome unit to have and the remote control gives you all the features you need. It was a pain to install but is impressively quiet and efficient. Good unit at this price point. Once we got it going I was impressed by how quiet it is both inside and outside units. Will know after some years how well it holds up. Installation was a lot harder than I expected, for several reasons: 1. There is no template for drilling holes through the wall and the drawing in the instructions leaves you guessing (it gives some dimensions that reference a back plate that is different from the one in box. Instead of a simple x across from middle and y down from the top is has some measurements that don't reference what you have). So I ended up with holes a little off and needed to enlarge them then patch the wall. 2. The lines are 1/2" and 1/4" (o.d.). - not 3/8 and 1/4" . The smaller line is easy to bend in place, the the 1/2" line is difficult to bend and you have to avoid kinking it. I was mounting to a wall that is 12" thick fired block wall. Not easy to make a clean hole. The 1/2" line has corrugations near the indoor unit to make it easy to bend, but they only extend out for a few inches. To make a 90 deg bend I had to cut the line on the unit and solder in a elbow (not easy to find for 1/2" OD ac line - not the same as copper plumbing size). If the 1/2" line was corrugated full length like a flex line then that cutting and modifying could have been avoided. 3. Wiring was a pain too because there really isn't much room to work on the indoor unit and they provide a cable with ends attached (not very useful because you need to cut it to length). 4. Flare nuts are an unusual size. You are meant to torque these with a crowfoot wrench but the nuts fit non of the wrenches from my set. Had to do a work around. If they just worked out these details it would be a better unit - (it took me a lot of time and frustration to get through all the bugs.) I believe it will perform really well but wish the installation had gone much more smoothly. Seemed like I was battling every detail. Lastly, they should offer an optional 25' line set. Usually 10 or 15 ft is enough I needed 21ft and had to extend the lines and it's a pain tracking down the material and flaring or soldering the extension.

We chose this mini split system based on the positive reviews and what appeared to be a responsive customer service team. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. From the beginning, we had ongoing issues with the unit. At first, customer service was willing to take our calls and discuss the problems, but over time they became increasingly difficult to reach and eventually stopped responding altogether. We hired a licensed HVAC company to inspect the system, and they determined there appears to be an issue with the circuit board. The unit shuts off randomly and changes temperature settings on its own, making it unreliable and frustrating to use. We have made multiple attempts to work with customer service to resolve the problem, but our calls and requests have gone unanswered. We are very disappointed with both the product and the lack of support after the sale. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this unit.

Third one I have bought. Love it! Quiet, cools and heats immediately, Set up is easy, remote is handy. Aesthetically pleasing. Good quality, reasonably priced.

Showed up a lot earlier than expected - a wonderful surprise. It has not been installed yet but we have other senvilles that are still working great 8 years later

My 2nd purchase, first one worked so well I ordered another unit for another building. Very impressed with unit and it's ability to cool in the summer and heat in the winter.
