Quick disconnect works well, is convenient. Great to buy in bulk. I like the turn off valve feature as well. They do seem to seep a little here & there, so I do keep an eye on them in case they would happen to start leaking. A convenient way to quickly swap out hose connections for multi-purpose hookups outside.

We have a LOT of hoses for watering a lot of outdoor plants and have always used quick-disconnects on all the hoses. It has gotten to the point where the "big box" home improvement and other stores only carry a blister pack of various combinations with no other options. It was so nice to find these uniform matching pairs and the ON/OFF integrated feature is a plus. They seem quite durable and are fully compatible with older ones that we have. I may not buy again because I got two packs of 5 but if other older ones where to wear out, I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these.

Perfect for my needs
I am using these in my RV. I have purchased two packages and have fittings on all my hoses and equipment. Yes, they are made of plastic, so I am sure they will break if abused, but I've not no breakage issues so far. They are sensitive to side forces and may leak slightly, but it stops when the hose leading to the connection is straightened out. When I arrive at a campsite, I screw one valve on the water source and then all my other connections just snap together. Works great!

Well designed quick connect garden hose thread adapter with shut off valve
Nice well designed functional quick connect adapter with the added shutoff valve feature. An improvement over an earlier version I purchased years ago where the valve controller would snap off over time.

Works with other types of quick connections
These work great for me and they are interchangeable with my other quick connectors. No leaks, good quality and a decent price.

Good starter set
Wanted to try this out. Works well but drips from connection. Might upgrade to brass next year. Does make connecting hose easier.
