The Good Immigrant: 26 Writers Reflect on America Paperback – February 4, 2020

I loved it!!! It helped me to understand that I'm not alone in this... This book is in my heart. It touches some good points of history and the present that we live in. I totally recommend it, please read it, you'll learn a lot.

I bought this book, because I wanted to see the world through the eyes of other immigrants. Sometime I feel unsure about my own feelings as immigrant and feel that maybe I am ungrateful and outsider.Reading this book affirm my feelings, but also helped me understand myself and be proud of being myself unapologetic.Very good book containing all that America is - us, the immigrants.

Many different perspectives on the immigrant experience, and very accomplished writing which is getting more and more rare these days. I also read the British version of this and found that there was more subtlety and awareness in the American version.

I've always found stories of those that immigrate to the US from other countries interesting and enjoyable because they always show that we as human beings (the only real race) have a lot more in common than many think, but that it showcases the classic struggle of those to "fit in" to new environments and systems. I really enjoyed this book.

Amazing, gives a wonderful variety of experiences and viewpoints to learn from and empathize with.

It’s a good book but it came damaged and really dirty. I have to remove the book cover.
