Great to use for older monitors when adding 2nd or 3rd Monitor
Bought this for own use:- DVI to DVI Cable, BENFEI 1.8 Meter DVI-D 24+1 Gold Plated Cable Arrived quickly and no issue with packaging. Had a USB hub with HDMI and DVI sockets so decided to increase screens for home use. This cable is not audio and with the older 21" monitor.. this had no audio so ideal to use. Plugged in and Laptop picked up the extra monitor with no issues or latency. Sometimes move items off the laptop screen onto this screen as the resolution is better and no issues with colour\texts.... all very clear and no shadow effects..... this is simple set up the cable and forget its there. The screw retainers fit the holes so provided a bit of support when the hub has been moved and no loss of connection.

DVI Port a tight fit on my 2014 HANNS G HT231 Monitors
I have no problem whatsoever with the cable, in fact it is doing exactly what I needed it to do. I had been using a VGA cable but the screen image was a little fuzzy. Background reading led me to believe using a DVI cable would correct this, which it did. However the DVI port was set very close to the back of the Monitor and the connector housing was not thin enough to allow connector to port alignment, a bit of reading offered a solution but rather than go into what, it's worth knowing that you really need 4.5mm clearance between the port and the back of the monitor housing in order for the cable connector to seat. That said it works perfectly at 1920x1080 which is the best my graphics card can handle.

Personalized Review: DVI Cable *1.8M*
If you're looking for an affordable solution for your home setup, the DVI Cable 1.8M is definitely worth considering. It serves its purpose well and can save you from the frustration of having to buy new monitors or adapters. It's also handy for those who want to connect a second monitor without spending a lot on a high-end one. Benefits: - Serves its purpose well and provides good picture quality on a 23" monitor. - Helps increase resolution and prevent the need to buy a new monitor or adapter. - Allows connection to graphics card for a second monitor without a DVI port. - Thick and sturdy cables with caps to protect the connectors. - Simple packaging and good value for the price. One of the great benefits of this cable is that it offers good picture quality. If you're using a 23" monitor, you won't experience any issues with the picture quality. Additionally, the cable is thick and long, so you won't have any trouble moving your monitors to a different place. The connectors are sturdy and come with caps to protect over the DVI connector pins to reduce damage. Negatives: - Not the most robust cable, but still adequate for home use. One downside is that it's not the most robust cable out there, but it's decent enough quality for home use. Some users have also mentioned that there are no manuals included, but this isn't really a big issue as it's straightforward to use. Overall, the DVI Cable 1.8M is a solid option for anyone who wants to connect their monitor to their laptop or PC without breaking the bank. It's a reliable cable that does the job well, and the value it offers is undeniable. Given its many benefits, I'd rate it 9 out of 10.

Serves purpose well
It’s a DVI-D cable, which was next step down from what I originally wanted (powered HDMI to display port) but for fraction of the cost is more than adequate for my needs. Not most robust but still decent enough quality for home so now connected (static setup) expect it will be fine and last. Picture quality on my 23” monitor is good so no issues so far (early days). Amazon prime delivery so received within 24hrs. All positive.

Great cable, exactly as expected.
Bought this cable to connect a second monitor to my pc. The product came well packaged in its own bag with plastic guards covering the ends. The length I bought is perfect for where I need it. Both ends fit in their respected ports perfectly, they aren't loose and where easy to put in. The cable and both connectors feel sturdy. There is no loss of quality or delay in what's being displayed. Overall very good product. Does exactly what you'd expect. Nothing bad to say about it at all.

i need to provide some back ground, as to why i would be looking for DVI-DUAL link cables. My MSI Ace z390 Meg decided after many long and arduous tours of many a battlefield, committed ritual suicide. I was in a jam, The old saying,, "Money's tight, times are hard, here's your Christmas card" idea. Long story short my oldest brother had just bought a brand new series 13, but he gave me his Gigabyte XA-58A-UD5, for nadda, works great, it's a quality product produced by a industry reputable producer for the consumer market, meaning, they don't produce E-waste, that will be land fill in 3 or 4 years ( cough Apple, couph, cough)., It's been over a decade since i used anything with initials MBR, or LEGACY, i had thought they were modern suburban 'ghost stories", they aren't stories, and those two early tech components are still around. And after 10 years+ i had to relearn their ups and downs. That's the background. they fall into 3 categories. DVI-D (Digital Only Signal) low end basic. but the most popular, (cause they're cheap) DVI-A (Analog Only Signal) Slight improvement. DVI-I (Integrated Analog & Digital),,, DVI-I: In practice, DVI Analog-only cables are rare, and DVI Analog devices are non-existent. The DVI Integrated cables and connectors offer the best of both worlds: a single cable and connector that can transmit both a digital and an analog signal. Since a DVI-I connector offers the most flexibility, video cards such as the ATI Radeon 8500 use this connector so that either a DVI digital screen or VGA monitor can be connected. Important: In DVI like anything else, an Analog signal will only talk to analog devices, and a Digital signal will only talk to digital devices. Trying to convert a DFP or DVI-D (Digital Only) signal to a VGA (Analog) signal will not work. The DVI connector on a device is given one of three names, depending on which signals it implements: DVI-I (integrated, combines digital and analog in the same connector; digital may be single or dual link) DVI-D (digital only, single link or dual link) DVI-A (analog only) Most DVI connector types—the exception is DVI-A—have pins that pass digital video signals. These come in two varieties: single link and dual link. Single link DVI employs a single transmitter with a TMDS clock up to 165 MHz that supports resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz. Dual link DVI adds six pins, at the center of the connector, for a second transmitter increasing the bandwidth and supporting resolutions up to 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz.... After discovering that my brothers old geforce gtx 770 could compete with and 'average' system (not a true gamer system, a teenagers first computer kinda gaming. i found the prices were not, consistent, the cable pricing is like varying degrees of say schizophrenia, meaning. after reading reviews, of getting 2800 x 1980 refresh rates (4k). To say grasping the concept of that category of graphic interface, was an issue whatso ever, would be a lie.; I didn't;'t know i could have been getting 4k res years ago, but some knowledge is hoiden i guess.. Yah, yah yah, long winded, Perhaps you have a full understanding of the DVI series, or know someone who does. i had neither, over 35 years using computers, and i didn't know anything, except, the resolution i was getting, wasn't anything like capable off. Let me put it to you this way. I have versed myself on needed to know issues with that standard, ( and yah, even with the net, you can spend time) Then, finding out most of the DVI-Dual Link, come from china, for well over $100 Cdn, and well past that in shipping. I'm sure they were of great quality, but i'm not paying that shipping cost, full stop. Then checked here, and ordered 2 - 6' half decent cables (not professional grade) for a total of Invoice : 01 March 2023 Total payable / Total à payer: $29.36, including shipping. I run them at 1920- x 1080 @144 Hz on 2- 27" acer KG271C monitors, and my audio is from my 7.1, so, no audio from the DVI is generally moot, in gaming, Frames Wins Games. Amazon sent me an email, asking what i thought of my purchase. And well, looking on the positive side, this is so lengthy of a read, That even if i bought and entire franchise, , i'm willing to bet, they won't ask me what i thought of the purchase and could i spare some thoughts on it. , long story, but, 'value' doesn't mean an increase in out of pocket, value is your time, money can be replaced, time, is personal. So, I wanted to share my value the purchase i made, since, they emailed me. Maybe this is just tooo long, and they won't do that again. Cup half full,. this isn't directly related to the DVI-Duals, but it's invovled in the a/v part. Don't make the mistake i made of cutting all my home theatre to that specific meassurement. it invikves an expense you don't need, by doing that only using the exact length, and even worse, getting supplied from more then one supplier.. you'll find out in short order, that the term speed of sound is a real thing, might be fast, but it's definitely noticeable. if all the lengths are cut identical, the time the signal is sent and arrives when it's supposed to, not 1./2 a second or even a echo with a couple seconds, makes your work of art sound more like a empty hockey arena, Why you don't use different suppliers, pretty much any trade same thing. Pretty much you want the material you using on your system from not only the same supplier, you want the cables, off of the same spool, Same spool, was likely made on the same day, same shift, with exactly same materials, and same environmental conditions. And Amazon, the cables, are above run of the market merchandise, i'd order them again, if needed, as well as recommend. if i was going to trade shows and setting up displays etc. then that would be silly to spend less then 30 bucks on a pair of cables, where you are trying to show a widget to a prospective customer, and your 30 dollar cable showed it's value. Personally don't use my cables because i enjoy rolling around on the ground, install them once. For that purpose, they are perfect. And to confirm again, i am using 1980X1020 @144Hz, (psst always lower it 3 fps, i..e actual my setting are 141, it's to do with the buffering, blah blah blah.
