The best tasting corn outside fresh in a movie theater (and how often do you get it fresh there).
Perfect size for the stove top popcorn maker with the crank. Spot on salt, to oil to corn measurement and uses coconut oil just like the movie theaters do for the highest quality and best tasting popcorn. There was a scare back several years ago, a movie theater popcorn was compared to the fat content in six big mac sandwiches. Many went to using canola oil and others, but the coconut oil was no where near as bad as the fat found in a hamburger and cheese. Today many theaters have reverted back, and coconut oil is found to help not hurt bad cholesterol counts. It's still a good Idea to do in moderation, but you can't beat the good taste. Recommended for popcorn lovers who get tired of air poppers or micro bags. This is the real stuff guys, I'm now on my third order of this with the sample that came with the Whirley Pop machine. Perfect for use on a gas stove and the high quality corn and just the right mix of buttery coconut oil and salt. You can limit the salt a bit if you want, but it's really not overkill unless you're on a low salt diet. These are a bit expensive, it breaks down to about 3 bucks a batch. Made in the Whirley Pop on the stovetop, it shakes out to about 2 of the large bags of something like Pop Secret Microwave corn. The difference in the taste is very noticeable however, so if you really want an authentic movie night in front of your 60" TV, this does the trick. You won't find those Pop Secret bags with coconut oil, and they just don't taste the same. FYI, I've tried two other kinds with these combo packs available in the grocery or specialty stores, and this is by far the best.

I used it with a popcorn maker but I’m sure that in a pot on the stove would be just as tasty
