Quality metal box. I got this for my Dad to use as a faraday cage for his router. It was cheaper than the ones actually made for that but I am hoping it works just the same. I don't have a meter to test the levels so it's all faith for now. At least it's not making anything worse as the Wi-Fi signal is still strong enough for internet use.

Not 18 inches, but 9 works fine.
This box is definitely not 18' 1/8 inches long, but if it were, it probably wouldn't fit in a backpack much less a desk. It is silver, sturdy, with a hinged top that opens to the side. It fits pencils, markers, erasers and jumbo glue sticks and other school supplies inside without a problem. Overall this is a great box and I recommend it for both its esthetic features (nice silver and fine mesh weave) as well as its functionality and durability.

Nice!
I have this box at my bedside, with remotes, my phone and a few other odds and ends in it. I can see what's in the box, and my dog doesn't "raid my nightstand" looking for things to chew on. Perfect!
