Bottom seal can be replaced, if ever needed
Buyers can judge the elegance accurately, from the product-page picture.A few comments questioned the longevity of the bottom seal. First I would not put either part in the dishwasher myself. The main glass, just because I don't see that washing well. And the seal is so tiny, not worth trying it. Except when just newly received, seldom necessary to wash the salt one anyway. Perhaps the pepper occasionally.Second if ever necessary to replace a seal, perhaps the manufacturer would send one. But no matter. One can find "T-shape" silicone plugs on Amazon, 31.3mm = roughly 1-1/4", food grade. At least there are white ones, with no additional protruding inner "lip", which work fine. I have not felt a need to look for a clear one yet.As is often the case, beautiful things can be worth a bit of fussing. Cheers
