Works great.
Does exactly what it says on the label, just follow the directions and you're good to go. I used it to coat the underside of my mower deck and only have to reapply the coating once every couple months. Wet grass has a much harder time clogging up when mulching the lawn and collects easier in the bag when it's setup for it.

A "Too Good to be True" Product that is as True as it Claims!
Fantastic Stuff!CONS:- Hazy Film left after drying. Kind of like a powder/creme coat left once the top coat dries.- Reapplication: used on surfaces which get heavy wear, you'll need to reapply every couple of months to keep the barrier intact.(that's it)PROS:- Works exactly as good as advertised.- Repels liquid of all varieties: water, oil, milk, condiments, sauces, paint (water and latex), gasoline, cleaners, etc.

Highly hydrophobic
First, the product does exactly what it promises: it repels water. It doesn't just prevent it from being absorbed - it REPELS water. My application was on clay pot saucers, for a strange project. It went on easily, and adhered to the clay very well. Lasted well in areas where it was often wet but not under continuous water flow.Downsides are as others have mentioned:1. Forms a whitish layer on the object, with a waxy feeling. I wouldn't use it on anything that would be in plain sight.2. Durability shows me that it is not intended for use under continuous water flow. My application was under a birdbath fountain. The coating wore away in a few days. This is not a fault of the product, I feel, but the result of using it in a way that it was never intended. My rating of 4 stars is, I think, I bit harsh. I'd give it 4 1/2 if I could.

BEWARE!
IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE ITEM YOU'RE THINKING OF SPRAYING, DON'T RISK IT!This stuff should be named NEVER DRY. It has ruined our brand new patio table and chair set from Crate & Barrel.I have used NeverWet products in the past on shoes and other things with great success, so when I read that this NeverWet product is for use on "metal, wood, aluminum, galvanized metal, PVC, concrete, masonry, asphalt, vinyl siding, fiberglass, most plastics and more," I confidently attempted to use it to protect my new patio investment from the elements and birds. The table and chairs are powder-coated aluminum, with fine plastic mesh on the seat bottoms and backs. I followed the directions carefully, spraying in my ventilated garage and applied the "base coat" in 2 coats, waiting over an hour between the coats. The first problem I encountered was that despite spraying from over 18" away -- farther than they recommend, the stuff "bridged," that is, it filled many of the spaces in the seats' mesh. When viewed with light behind the chairs, they showed irregular, ugly blotches in the mesh in spite of my efforts to evenly apply the spray. I later actually had to sit for hours with a safety pin and poke open thousands of openings in the mesh in an attempt to make the blotches disappear. The second problem is that the stuff never fully dries! It says to wait at least 30 minutes before applying the "top coat." I waited 7 days! The stuff still feels sticky. The label cautions that the product should not be applied in temperatures below 50°F nor in relative humidity above 85%. I'm in Arizona! Those are not conditions one worries about here.As dust and dirt settled over the week on the pieces, it clung to the tackiness. Thus arose the 3rd problem: regardless how gingerly I tried to clear the particles, the slightest touch caused the base coat to scar, leaving marks on the surfaces. Using compressed air helped. The junk is said to clean up with mineral spirits. I considered bathing the whole set in mineral spirits to try and wash the stuff off, but such chemicals would destroy the plastic mesh on the seats. In a final effort to try to rescue the patio set, I lightly applied the top coat hoping that it would somehow react with or seal the base coat. No such luck. As it stands, the table and chairs feel sticky, and your hands feel as if something comes off on them. When you sit in the chairs, you stick to them and your arms stick to the arm rests. At least nothing will accidentally slide off the table...I'm considering a claim against the manufacturer, but their defense will of course be that the product was misapplied.THINK TWICE BEFORE USING THIS STUFF!**FOLLOW-UP**After placing the table and chairs outside, the next problem became very apparent: This junk changed the chairs' and table's color! They're supposed to be charcoal gray. This junk turned them blue (see photo A).I spoke of scarring (photo B), but it gets worse yet. After taking photo B, I simply drew an X with my finger on the table (photo C). The coating is so soft that ANYTHING will mark it.As they’re already ruined, and having nothing to lose, I experimented using mineral spirits to try to remove the coating. It seems to (note highlighted test areas in photo A), although how I get the stuff out of the seats’ mesh or from between the table’s slats remains an issue. I will have to buy a respirator and a couple of gallons of mineral spirits in the hope of restoring the furniture, an exercise I am not looking forward to!** FOLLOW-UP **Power-washing blasted ~40% of the coating off. The furniture's surfaces then all looked like skin peeling after a bad sunburn. Mineral spirits softens the goop, but then it smears as you rub. It thus takes a LOT of mineral spirits, fresh rags and rubbing to clear a surface. A gallon of mineral spirits, HOURS of rubbing and another power-washing to remove the oily residue from the mineral spirits and the table is looking pretty good again. Time will tell what damage this whole process has wreaked on the its powder coating. The chairs, unfortunately, are a lost cause. There is no way to get the NeverWet gunk out of the seats' mesh. I have therefore had to replace them. Luckily, I had only sprayed 2 of our chairs! Not counting the hours and hours of labor invested, this fiasco has cost me over $350.

Great at first, never use soap to clean.
Purchased to apply to a glass funnel. Applied even base coat waited 45 minutes then applied 3 top coats. Let stand for an hour then tested. Water and oils did glide over the surface as demonstrated so great. Then used a very light dawn dish soap and water mix, as the funnel may need cleaned in the future, to find all beneficial properties were immediately lost. No amount of rinsing brought back the proper surface again. Any future water after the soap on the surface wetted the surface even more than no coating at all.All in all good product just stay away from any soaps.

Works tremendously I would recommend
Love love love this NeverWet product I used it on my kayak paddles and after application and letting it dry I dip them in some water and no water remains on the padles when removed from the water. I can't speak as to how long this will last but I have plenty more if I want to do another application as stated above

KEEPS SATELLITE DISH CLEAR
I purchased the product to keep snow from accumulating on our satellite dish. We have had two snow events that normally I would have been outside clearing snow from the dish. With this product applied the snow has not accumulated on the dish.
