Satin Smooth Titanium Blue Hard Wax for Hair Removal No Strip Needed, 14 oz

Great quality and works as expected but little expensive.

I was so scared because after receiving this I went to see the reviews to see if I could warm the wax on the microwave and came across a terrible review about being the most painful waxing experience ever after 12 years waxing. And I am the same, have been waxing for 12 years, I always used sally with the strips and always irritate my skin. When I go to professionals and they use the hard wax is always the best, but too expensive. This hard wax the blue one, was just amazing, of course it took me 4X the time doing it myself but the pain was so much better than with the strips, I am really happy just did my wax at home and it worked very good.

I'm a wax newbie so take my opinion for what it's worth. I use a small $10 slow cooker from a big box store for this and it works. Just check it to make sure it's not too hot before you slather it on (which for me it never is burn worthy but ya never know). I also use "popsicle sticks" - the big ones that you can find cheap at a craft store. That said, it will remove 90-95% of course, thick hair in one pull in the "sensitive areas" (omg, ouch). I find with some practice I can get it close to 100% but it depends on the temperature of the wax when applied and the temperature when pulled. It's a trial and error. I apply it pretty warm almost hot, and then I don't let it get completely dry because it's harder for me to pull off for some reason. I pull it when it's still a tiny bit warm. I've bought this three times so far.

This wax have a nice grip, takes off almost all hair at once, and I don't have irritate skin after using it.

This is a hard wax for coarse hair! No strip needed. I see a lot of reviews saying the strip didn’t stick, well that’s because it’s a hard wax not soft. If you haven’t been properly taught how to wax please do not wax yourself or others you can really damage someone’s skin. I used this wax as soon as I got it to test it out. Me personally, I don’t think it’s a good wax for hair on your face seems not to stick to fine hair well. Waxed my bikini area, perfect wax for this! Snatched all the hair with little pain. Will continue to buy for use on thicker hair. I gave 4 stars because once the wax is laid and you lift the stick it’s always stringing, not sure how to rid that.

not good at all. i got this because it said it removes thick hair and bc it said its "thin" and "firm" but it is not. it did pull thick hairs pretty good but it does not work for areas like the legs where my hair wasnt thick. what was worse though, was the quality of the wax even with proper steps before-hand it kept breaking into smaller pieces that i would have to rub away because there was no way of pulling it. this led to it being even more complicated and painful throughout the entire experience even though it did remove thick hairs it would break and not pull fully. i would not recommend

Didnt work for me but maybe I'm not doing it right? Only picks up fine hair.

Great for nose hairs

As someone suffering with hirsutism due to pcos, it's very frustrating having to pluck or shave everyday. This wax is amazing for stubborn course facial hair and pulls most of them out from the root, and i only have to pluck a few stubborn hairs, and this lasts me a couple days. The hair grows back less course so I'm satisfied. Definitely the best wax I've used so far! I also do have sensitive skin and i dont get irritated so i highly recommend for pcos girlies 💁‍♀️

This wax is great for bikini line waxing and is very easy to use (you need to make sure you have it at the right temperature) and cleaning off the left over wax bits on your skin is easy with some oil. I also bought the soft wax from the same brand and they are amazing too. The key to the soft wax is to use a thin layer. I see some reviews saying it's too sticky or messy but it is wax and that's pretty normal. Learning how to use it is key

EDIT: THIS IS MY FIRST TIME BUYING WAX AND WAXING MYSELF AND I DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM. With that out of the way, IT'S WAX, OBVIOUSLY IT CAN GET MESSY. SO I ADVISE YOU TO WATCH "HARD WAX" WAXING VIDEOS if youre a first timer as well. I saw a couple of comments rating this wax badly because "it was messy" or "hard to deal with". - Wow! Forget going to the waxing place. I regret I didn't buy this sooner, its been on my cart for so long! Used it to wax my facial hair because I'm tired of shaving every other day. Easy to use and to remove! Highly recommended!

I used this for my underarms, one application takes all the hairs off but only a few strays which can be taken off by tweezers easily. overall great product that leaves my underarms feeling smooth! great for tough hair.

So, I'll be honest: I've had some hormonal issues over the years and got some extra hair growth on my face I'm NOT too happy about. The worst of it is very thick/coarse, and I'd liken it similar to a man's beard hair... there's a bit too much for me to bare plucking, so I decided to give at home waxing a go. I had tried another hard wax brand before this, and although it certainly worked fine, it was very painful to rip off and left my sensitive face skin red-irritated and bleeding in some spots. I decided after a few patches it was time to try the satin smooth instead (I mean, it "makes your skin soft" or whatever it totes, so I'd hoped it'd be a bit gentler... -- and it was!). When I first switched over to this product, I felt like it was pain free, because of the difference in it and the harsh pain of the hard wax I'd used prior. Of course, that didn't last, as no matter how you frame it, pulling hair out of your face HURTS, but it certainly was as pleasant as I felt it could be. By the end of the process, my face was a little pink/tender (I'd gone over some areas more than once as I hadn't spread it properly to get all the hair - my fault, not the wax). I put some soothing cream, hydroncordozone (SP) and polysporin on overnight, and woke up hair and irritation free! By day 3 I had a couple white spots in some problem areas, but nothing I couldn't deal with, and I believe was more the result of my personal impatience over any flaw with the wax. I used a wax heater to heat this at the lowest heat (I think between 40-60C). The container says to allow it to melt until there is a little "island" of hard wax left over in the center. Honestly, I'd just allow it to melt 'enough' til I could push on the "island" and melted wax would ooze up around it LOL, and I found that it wasn't "too hot" nor too sticky that it'd dry before I could get it on the hair that way. It dries almost instantly and is ready to pull after that, so I'd do a few areas at once (just little sections, not all connected!) and let it heat again while I tackled ripping those off. I later used it to clean up my eyebrows and it was practically painless (much less sensitive area for me), compared to the soft waxes and cloth strips the ladies at my salon use (which always leave my eyes watering and me jumping - I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to hair removal haha). I did find it would get a bit "tacky" if I heated it TOO MUCH. And if too little or I allowed it to cool too much, it'd dry before I could get it in place over the hair (it might still stick to skin, but it wouldn't 'envelope' all the hairs). So overall if you're having any issues with the consistency, I'd recommend reassessing your melting of the product. It WILL likely break off if you spread it over a large area, that is how all hard wax is designed. I also had no issues removing it after with nothing but face wash and some water - but keep in mind that was only for wax that wasn't clinging to hair already LOL - that stuff was getting pulled out/off or staying on my face for the rest of my life, so if you think you'll chicken out nab some proper remover... Good luck with your waxing guys and gals... !!!! I have to say, I've always felt waxing should be considered a form of masochistic self harm over a beauty technique, but this "satin smooth" was the kindest of the 10 different wax products I tried from Amazon.
