Know what you are getting, these are GREAT!
These are great! See my pics. But you have to know what you are getting. This is like a compressed paper towel sponge. It will break apart and disintegrate. Some pulpy fiber will stick to bottom of your sprouts. You can scissor trim or rinse off the pulp. But this is a great growing medium for sprouting. By the way, this was prob day 6 for these radish and arugula sprouts.

These have been great!
Great deal on great soiless medium. Easy to use whether as is or cut into confetti for larger root structures like pea shoots and sunflowers. I’ve had zero problems. They retain water and I haven’t encountered bad microbes. Compostable and fibers rinse right off roots. These increase air flow compared to coco four for me. No odor.Once wetted in place, they break apart with very little force when moved which makes them easier for roots to penetrate. Functions similarly to premium bamboo, without the expense. Although bamboo is positionable when wet. I’ll buy these again!

Perfect for the AeroGarden Harvest microgreens.
I saw these used on YouTube and they are square shaped and swell when they get wet. Once they get wet you can’t touch the pad because it will just fall apart. I actually like that because the roots can penetrate it easily. However this means that you need to be careful placing them so they cover as many holes in the Microgreen trays for the AeroGarden Harvest. These are way too small for the Bounty. Another plus is that my composting worms like them too. They turn their nose up at the AeroGarden pads.

Great idea but Do you want to eat it
I was disappointed that they smell like glue and there was no ingredient list so I’m gonna try growing grass patches for my lawn instead of micro greens.

Economical alternative to Aerogarden Microgreen Grow Pads
Easy to use and a quarter of the price of the Aerogarden grow pads.

Work fine but get smelly
I bought these to grow micro greens in my kitchen. The pads work great and my seeds are sprouting … the thing I can’t take is the smell. They stink. Maybe if you had a greenhouse or patio area it would be fine, but inside the house the smell is nasty. Will switch back to soil.

Must for Micro Green seedlings!!!
If you are into micro greens, this is a must. Great for starting seeds. I was surprised how easy and well this worked. Add water, put in seeds and check daily. Sprout seeds quickly. Must have for starter seeds.
