The is a good scan tool for what it is. this obd scanner really OUTSHINES all the others is with its scanning and data retrieving capabilities it reads all the main computers on your car and gives you full access to them. It fixes ABS problems and only costs about 149 dollars. Once plugged in, it starts analyzing, then it goes through various vehicle systems to check it out. Upon reaching the ABS system, you can read and erase the fault codes after you fix it and get the info off the computer if you need. This tool gives every trouble code and explain what the code represents. It can show you if the stop lamps working and if the relays working, if the actuators working, ABS warning light is on or off, if any of the solenoids are on or off and not working, i do have to say that i never found a scan tool that’s about 149 dollars that can do all the stuff with ABS systems. I am a professional auto tech and needed a scan tool to do basic quick scan jobs when i didnt feel like breaking out the snap on modis that is shared within the shop. This tool does exactly what i expected of it, and gives a fair amount of live data for being a budget tool. Gave 4 stars as works great, but i feel price could be a little better for what it is.

And it is exactly the one I hope to get and thanks to this device, dealing with some simple vehicle problems seem not as difficult as I expected. The diagnostic process can refer to the following steps - Plug it in the OBD port, read the diagnostic trouble codes, locate the error place, get the problem solved, clear the diagnostic trouble code and finally, the warning light can be turned off automatically.So I will highly revommend it !

The product did not or could not perform ABS scan/repair on 2005 Chevy or 2008m Mercedes and the literature is not clear as to which models are covered. It was difficult to update and took several attempts to reach the download site. The product did not come with a durable storage case which would be very useful in preserving the product.

Size and function of this scanner are great, only downfall for me is that it could be more user friendly. It would be nice to just scan it once to bring up all codes instead of having to scan each individual component engine/trans/brake/abs.

The registration website is a Chinese site; Bitdefender warned the site potentially had several hostile URLs. Taking a foolish chance, I registered my information using my iPhone and then was the directed to another website to register the product. After entering the product information, the site stated the product serial number was invalid and would not update the scanner. The scanner would not operate without registration and updating, so I packaged the Launch scanner and returned it for a refund.

Over promises and under delivered. Only provides the basic information. I have a land rover Range Rover and have a control height issue . Which is obvious because the height doesn’t adjust. The unit does not go into any detail beyond telling me what I already know. I tried updating the software , same result. It doesn’t even detect the spare tire sensor failure. I wish I had bought something else .

Had a little trouble trying to update the scan tool. But eventually figured it out.
