Recommended for AR builds
Instead of buying a set of punches of which many I will probably never use I choose to buy only the ones I will need for my AR builds. Starett is a very good brand to have in your toolbox. Stay away from the cheap junk! A good start are sizes 5/32 tapered point, 5/32 drive pin, 3/32 tapered point, 3/32 drive pin, 1/8 tapered point, and 1/8 drive pin. I believe I'm missing one for the pin on the barrel gas block. But I'm not an expert by no means. The sizes above are a pretty good start. Happy building!

Excellent quality
I used it to start/mark the holes for a scope mount on my M44 Mosin and it worked perfectly even though the steel is very hard on some of the Mosin receivers.

Good value for a tool that works
it does what it was meant to, so far it hasn't shown signs of wear or or mushrooming on the top. The black part is textured to where you get good grip with gloves on.
