Anyone can copy specifications, highlights or negatives from literally hundreds of online sources e.g. zines, publications or online vids. When i read reviews on Amazon i want genuine customer impressions and helpful information. But as said i can get info on specs anywhere online, genuine personal feedback is harder to come by. That is why in this I'm not going gung ho and quoting specs as some others have. I've tried to provide something more unique/personal even if a bit long winded. IMHO considering the price? being long winded is warranted. This was my first Samsung phone nonetheless I’m officially now a ‘member of the Samsung Club.’ It begins with the quality of the device, as good as I could hope for. With the Note10+ I got the best of the best across the board or at worst the runner up best in every category from hardware to software, customer service and design. The phone’s stock charger is fast enough I don’t need the optional higher wattage charger. Example 0-100% takes 62 minutes or 25% in about 12 minutes. Using wireless charging which is the fastest of any Samsung model, going that route takes a little longer to charge but still is faster than my old Moto G7 plugged in. The hardware is top notch which means a couple years from now it will still be a solid competitor to most phones. The display is as beautiful as all the reviewers online, YouTube, etc. have to say on it. You can adjust the resolution using three settings if you want to save power. The edge to edge glass makes the design stand out. It is the first phone I have had that has gotten total strangers to ask me what it was? Usually those comments begin with a statement like, ‘wow that’s a nice screen,..’ I also like that when outside the system can bump up brightness beyond normal settings so even in bright sunlight it is easy to see. The hardware is the best. The processor, ram, storage and expandable storage make this the nearest thing to a PC replacement for a phone. Sound is very good with the dual speaker setup. While there is no 3.5mm audio out jack if you use a Samsung dongle the sound quality is very good. Bluetooth is solid and very reliable. I have not once had a connection drop. Transfer speeds are blazing fast due to the hardware. The camera setup with the range of everything you could hope for at this time is extremely good. The camera software is chocked full of options including the ability to use ‘pro mode’ shoot raw, 4K, etc. thanks to the copious amount of memory between the built in and expandable option means I have more space, 1Tb on my phone, than I’ll ever need. To truly see how good the camera and vid setup is I highly recommend checking some of the many YouTube vids focusing on this camera and even comparing to others such as Apple’s products. As stated earlier the battery is great in how fast it charges. It also had the largest battery available in the line and boy does it last. I have never gotten close to running out even after a solid day and night’s use. It is one of the very few phones available that has reverse wireless charging too. That is of no use to me but for some it might be? Just know the charge rate is on the slow side when ‘lending’ power to another device. At least with Android 10 you can set how much power you want to let go of and no longer need worry of the vampire phone/watch/etc. draining your Note dry. Performance is snappy. Everything loads as quickly as I could have hoped for. Nothing hangs or has ever locked up. It is good enough that you can use dex and connect it directly to a PC and work from there. A handy feature that only works because of what the Note10+ brings to the table. Software is a mix of stock android and one UI. Samsung had a reputation for being slow to update but no more. Since I’ve had mine I have received security updates every month. On top of that a couple months back one UI upgraded to V1.5. Better still the phone now runs Android 10 & One UI V2.0. FYI One UI is an android skin and a good one. It makes use of elements of Google’s design while adding helpful features that stock android still lacks. Speaking of which the OS! There is so much under the hood I still find new things even now. As for security using pin, under glass fingerprint sensor, face scan which all work fine. The nice bit about the OS is that it allows exceptions to being locked. For myself I have it set to never lock at home, work or when connected via Bluetooth to my vehicle. There’s Samsung Pay too! Unlike Google Pay Samsung also works on old style card readers. So you get access to all the shops that take Google Pay plus all those that don’t. As said when it comes to software there is far too much there to go into in a review like this. One really cool feature is the new notification light or lights. In the past we got a single flashing led light to let us know to check our phones. Samsung went over the top on this change and it is great! You can select a range of edge lighting options. You could choose just one led as before around the camera opening or have the entire edge of the screen pulse, go off like fireworks, change colors, and on and on. Such an improvement over the old way IMHO. You also have an AOD (always on display) which shows what you want on the screen when asleep. FYI no worries about burn in on as it shifts screen position every minute or so. A true work phone if ever there was. The Note10+ with its connectivity to PC software means the work I am able to do on the phone easily migrates over to my PC. I can drag or drop files, text from the pc, etc. thanks to all that RAM I never have to think about how many apps I have open at a time. Working from one to another is so simple on the phone. You even have stock apps like Outlook and Office. So as said working on one, moving to another using Samsung’s custom app. Using the S Pen i can for the first time work on individual cells on an excel spreadsheet without any trouble at all. Size? screen size is the largest currently available in the U.S. however due to it being edge to edge glass the phone body is actually the same size as the old Note9 was. So it isn’t too large to use by any means. For me especially with the volume and power buttons being moved to the left makes it is a breeze to use, lefties rejoice! Even right handed folks have said that after using for a short time they got used to the new placement and most liked it better. It is a stunning phone! The design in hand looks and feels significantly better than in pictures. The countless YouTube reviews I looked at thankfully were spot on with their assessments of this new Note. ABSOLUTELY order a protective case of some sort before you get the Note. I have never held something so slippery, thanks to all that gorilla glass 6. The glass is slightly curved, not nearly so much as with the S series. If you happen to get accidental edge touches within the settings you can reduce sensitivity in those areas. Again so many settings and customization's. The only negatives for me first and foremost NO 3.5mm audio jack. Carrying around a dongle, forgetting it? Leaving it behind at home? Like most with better audio equipment I’m not happy about this omission. Lots of excuses but the real reason is they want to sell their wireless earbuds, saw the apple game plan worked so followed their lead, irony of ironies. The other negative is minor, the fingerprint sensor can be a little slow or inaccurate if the screen gets smudged up too much. *TIP I followed the advice of others in this. Instead of scanning four fingers I scanned two. My thumb twice on one hand, finger twice on the other. Since doing that I have not had one misread. The face unlock can be a bit bipolar once in a while denying me access? I’d rather have it err on the side of caution so to speak than the other way if you follow. For years I stuck with Moto phones for the quality and value they represented and not to mention a nearly stock android experience. However when Lenovo bought them out things changed for the worse IMHO. My niece had always had Samsung phones and loved hers. I have a household full of reliable Samsung products. I read and viewed dozens of reviews all reasons that got me to try the new Note10+ out. Obviously I am very happy with the Note10+. If not for my niece and the professional reviews I probably would have gone with another device due to the price. But once I began to use it and found all the things I could do with the Note10+ I then saw the value in its pricing. I’d recommend this phone to anyone and not just left handed workaholics with bad eyesight like myself.

Probably the best all-round flagship phone on the market. Thought I would miss the headphone jack more than I have, but honestly the wireless Galaxy buds that came bundled with the phone at the time I bought it are easier to use than wired earbuds. Just open the case and they automatically pair. The in-screen fingerprint reader is pretty good for being a first gen iteration of the tech for Samsung. You just have to watch out for certain screen protectors which can completely render the reader useless. Battery life is pretty average for a Samsung phone. It won't blow you away, but it will get you through a day of moderate use just fine. The wireless power share feature is pretty nifty for charging a Galaxy watch or the Galaxy Buds, but it is too inefficient to use to charge another phone in all but the most dire circumstances. However it only works with the thinnest phone cases, and for a device this expensive, I would recommend a study, rugged case. The S-pen is the same great stylus Note owners have become accustomed to over the years with a few nifty air gestures that mostly only work in first-party Samsung apps. The smart-select feature is a time saver for extracting text from images, such as a reference #, etc. The camera setup is quite good, with a surprisingly wide-angle lens, a standard lens, and a 2x telephoto lens. The built-in camera app has a zoom slider that automatically switches between the lenses as you reach their tick-mark. Quick shutter-speed, good post-processing, HEVC and raw shooting formats are also possible with this camera setup. The three lenses are also accompanied by a depth-sensor which enables a lot of AR-functionality, such as the built-in measurement tool, where using the phone's camera you can scan your space, then select a spot within the space, then a second spot, and measure the distance between the 2 points. Screen is top-notch as we've come to expect from Samsung. A high-res Super AMOLED powers an excellent visual experience, with deep, inky blacks and bright contrasting colors. With the inclusion of the dual speaker system and Dolby Atmos mode, one can have a great movie/video watching experience, with the phone's speaker or the included USB-C earbuds. As I said before, this is probably the best all-round flagship phone available. While it's not perfect, in performs proficiently in every respect and you'll be hard-pressed to find a device that ticks off more boxes in terms of features than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

I absolutely love this phone!! It is sleek easy to use has lots of great features and came in perfect condition. Upon unboxing it did take a bit of time to get the software updated I think I had to update about 7 times but it's totally worth it! The screen is super big which makes everything easier to read and great for games and videos. It is worth the money to buy it. I dont see myself needing a new phone again for a long time. And the battery life is amazing! I play lots of games and stream youtube constantly and only have to charge my phone every other day for about an hour. The in-screen fingerprint reader can be a little glitchy mostly because it's kinda hard to find the sensor when the screen is black, but you can use Facial ID to unlock your phone and then just have the fingerprint active for purchase verifications and app lock purposes which works really great for me. The S pen is a bonus without it the phone would be great but with that added little bonus it just makes this phone awesome. There are also lots of features that are associated with the Spen that make this phone lots of fun and really exciting to play around with. I've had mine for about a month now and it still works like the day I unboxed it. I spent a good 2-3 months researching all the new phones on the market before I made my decision to get the Note 10+ and I do not regret my decision to upgrade to this device. It also came with a screen cover on it that is reliable as well. I dropped my phone in the back of a fast food restaurant on the hard tile floor out of my hoodie pocket and not only did my phone not break scrape chip or shatter but the screen protector doesn't even have a scuff! All in all this phone is durable, reliable, operates smoothly, has tons of fun features, and lives up to the description of most elite phone on the market right now!

I got the phone around Thanksgiving . I switched from a Google pixel 2 and I love the new 10+. It has a great battery life of around 24-30 hours with my usual usage of emails, music steaming, browsing etc. The fingerprint reader is slower than the pixel's but works well none the less. I love the high storage capacity on the phone which allows me to work on the go while editing word docs as well as PowerPoints. The screen is huge and has a very good resolution that really pops when you watch HD videos. I am ambivalent about the camera given that I was using the Pixel series. Don't get me wrong, the camera is good, but probably could be better. My photos are not professional (just random shots -family, pets, etc.) And it works well for them. I do like the love focus mode and the night mode (night-light from pixel) is also pretty decent. From a professional standpoint, I think this phone blows most of the other phones away with it's specs and capabilities. I forgot my laptop at home one day and I used Dex to get all my work done (used my Mac's USB C to HDMI+USB C+USB adapter to connect to keyboard, mouse, charger, and monitor). Worked like a breeze. I have the Samsung S3 tab so I was familiar with the S pen. Although I do not use it as much as I thought I would but it still is a nice piece to have when I am taking notes or want to draw over a photo or diagram. Honestly, I would recommend this phone to professionals. Admittedly this is an expensive phone but it is well worth the dollar amount if you are looking for a professional device that can take on not just the normal work load but go above and beyond what other phones do.

Waited a long time for a Samsung phone with a Snapdragon 855 (Yes I know the S10, but coming from an S7 want something different). I don't just buy new phones when they come out, I wait until they are much faster and more efficient. Snapdragon 820 14nm chip, 845=10nm, 855=7nm. Pros: AMOLED, Snapdragon 855, 256-512GB Storage, 12GB Ram (Sorry Apple), Wireless AX (aka wifi6) Cons: Weak Charging Detected on Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 @ 80+ percent and will start to discharge your phone while using apps like Google Maps or YouTube. **I used a type A to C USB 3.0 with 56k resistor for charging. Used different QC 3.0 chargers and cables to make sure it was not the accessories. Your finger has to be exactly were the sensor is to unlock the phone. I would prefer it to unlock wherever I place my finger. No Aux (minor, but still useful in my opinion). FYI If you want full charging capabilities of this phone you need a Power Delivery 3.0 with PPS and a USB type c to c "e-marker" cable. **Type c to c does not have a 56k resistors, make sure you get a e-marker cable for USB compliant and safety. To future proof get a USB 3.1 type C to C gen 2. This will support 100w charging and transfer speed of 10Gbps. Not any PD 3.0 Charger will do, you NEED a PD 3.0 with PPS that supports charging @ 10v/4.5a = 45 watts. No the Note 10 Plus will not charge @ 15v/3a standard as of 09/17/2019 (currently none on the market except official, waste of money unless you want to charge from 0-100 in ~30-40min). Once you go OLED screen it is difficult to go back to TN or IPS LCDs. Just make sure you don't set your phone to stay idle for a long time before it unlocks because OLEDs can "burn in" similar to plasma tvs. Wireless AX is the new wireless N, better speed and range. AC is speed only, no range. To Samsung I am not sure it is hardware, but if it is software. Please give us a firmware update that allows standard fast charging voltages.

So I've had this phone a few months now and I can say it's the best phone I've ever owned. I don't use the pen much, but the people that could make use of it will likely be thrilled. I've become more attached to using the voice recognition technology (Only google) and I have never had it misunderstand a word. Battery- The battery life is pretty good considering I never turn on power saving mode, and I am on it 10+ hours a day, and it's consistently at 20% by the time I leave work. Camera- I don't take many pictures. They do seem to get kinda blurry but that's likely because I suck at taking them. Taking a photo of a document is neat as it removes the angle of the photo so it looks like a scanned copy, but with photo quality. Also the hole-punch camera is easy to get used to. When you're watching videos it can get annoying, but you can change a setting so the display is under the camera at the cost of a few millimeters of screen size. Fingerprint- The in-screen fingerprint reader is flawless. It's tricky to find the spot for it without enabling always on display, but after a while it feels very natural. Display- Screen is beautiful. I don't need to say more. Protective advice- I never drop my phone, but whatever carrier you have (Verizon being the most optimum for this), get their monthly protection plan. Also, the sticker that the phone comes with is adequately scratch resistant. My phone is always in my front pocket though, and never with anything else. I just use a cheap case and no protective glass. Overall- Great phone. I have mixed feelings about the camera but it's possible I'm not using it correctly. The battery life is good in modern standards. Fantastic preformance and display. 8/10 overall. I would not go for any lower galaxy flagship model over this.

I normally don’t buy flagship phones upon release but decided to get the Note because I have never had the Samsung Note line but can use it’s features.First great thing is the S pen I had no problem figuring out how to use this and now wondering how I ever lived without it.I much prefer using the pen to go though apps and I am actually the type of person who like to scratch out notes on a piece of paper.I just think it stimulates the thinking process,and the pen is great.As far as no headphone jack ,I been wireless for so long now a cord just gets in the way and won’t miss it at all. Android 9 and Samsung UI 1.5 are fine but the new update (whenever it comes ) makes this phone probably the best android you can buy.The photo proximity feature is really cool and useful for doing projects,and the new update will finally get a worthy screen capture of recordings.Something needed on the Samsung line ,along with other improvements.I paired my phone with a Gear S3 watch and this is probably the first time Samsung has not abandoned an older product.I much prefer the Samsung in style looks and notifications along with exercise and paying are really my main watch things.The battery is excellent,the screen is amazing I don’t even notice the little hole.Both fingerprint and facial recognition have worked well with me. Super happy with this phone and would recommend it as a work or personal phone to anyone in Android/Samsung universe.The smart switch from my S8+ worked very well.And it isn’t too big still fits in a pocket on a front shirt or in the pockets of my travel bags.

I took a small chance and ordered this Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus from Amazon Warehouse. "Like New" condition meant there was some minor damage to the original packaging but the phone is in pristine condition, all accessories are present and functional. The only source of fleeting concern was the appearance of a couple of minor blemishes on the screen. The removal of the screen protector that comes installed from the Samsung factory revealed a blemish-free glass underneath. As I will be installing a glass protector myself, I would have been removing that original screen protector regardless of condition. It did its job. My 5 stars, for now, is a reflection of first impressions of the phone and having gotten a great deal for the 512 GB variant of the 10+ for less than what I would have paid for a Note 10 or a 10+ with 256GB storage. I had started to back away from purchasing the 10+ over price concerns and adding in the expense of accessories. But, I did a fair amount of research and have been coveting a Note device for years. There was a fleeting price reduction on a Note 10+ and I missed out on that deal but ended up saving even more. There's still a nagging voice in my head that's saying I may have more than what but it was time to have more and not get stuck with not enough or settling for less. I'm already having fun learning the ins and outs of the Note 10+ and going through my library of how-to videos and putting theory into practice. My previous phone was an iPhone 6 plus and it has served me well for a few years. I'll still employ it as a more rough and tumble non-phone device, sheathed in that Otterbox armor I reserved for camping/hiking trips. And now I'm only 6 months or so behind the curve of newest/latest instead of years. And I'm glad to know that some of the initial bugs from the launch days of the Note 10+ have been fixed with updates. I also used the Amazon Locker delivery option for the first time and that experience went smoothly. I had peace of mind knowing that my new "baby" wouldn't be sitting exposed on the front porch.
