PURA D'OR Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo & Conditioner Clarifying Set, 16oz x2

The PURA D'OR Gold Label Anti‑Thinning Shampoo & Conditioner set has been a genuinely positive addition to my hair routine. The shampoo feels gentle yet effective, and the conditioner adds a soft, healthy slip without weighing my hair down. After a couple of weeks, I noticed less breakage, fuller roots, and an overall stronger feel to my hair. The biotin‑rich formula and botanical blend give it a clean, refreshing scent, and both bottles are generously sized at 16oz each—great value for a duo that lasts a long time. My hair feels smoother, looks shinier, and sheds noticeably less in the shower. If you’re looking for a strengthening set that supports thinning hair while still being gentle and nourishing, this Gold Label duo is a solid choice.

I have using using the shampoo for 6 months. I am male, 35 years old, and have noticed my hair thinning for the last two years or so. In order for the shampoo/conditioner to work properly, you have to follow the directions. Gently massage it into your scalp, wait at least two minutes, then rinse. Do the same with the conditioner. Sometimes I leave it in for 5 minutes, however I don’t know if it’s more effective that way. Not only will you hair/scalp smell and feel amazing, I believe this stuff genuinely works. It’s not designed for people who are bald. It’s clearly designed for people who still have hair, but it’s thinning. I have seen regrowth in my crown, and a little bit in the front and sides. This shampoo has not completely fixed my hair problems, and I don’t think it’s intended too. I would recommend this to anymore who wants to see improvements in their hair. The change will not be immediate, and you have to follow the instructions on the bottle. Very soon, I’ll be using the iRestore helmet in conjunction with this shampoo and will post an update with my results. Again if you’re almost or have no hair, this is clearly not the product for you. There are natural treatments folks, you don’t have to pump your body full of prescription drugs to have fuller hair. Happy hunting everyone :)

I truly believe it has been working. I’m at the bottom of my first set of bottles, however long that takes. But, I wash my hair every other day, not the every day it says to on the bottle. I have no desire to do that. I’d started noticing slight thinning at the front hairline, a little more scalp showing. I saw this product on the Today Show so thought I’d give it a try. I’d been using Color WOW for a long time but felt like it was time for a change. I’m not a fan of the scent, it’s very strong to me and very insence scented-not a real fan. It does a nice job of cleaning my hair. However, I do feel that my hair gets dirty much faster. I can sometimes go the third day without washing but not with this shampoo/conditioner combo. But, this is what swayed me. I do color my hair about every 6-8 weeks. When I colored it this last time I could actually feel a difference in the hair that was 2” closest to my scalp. It FELT smoother and thicker. It felt healthier. I was ready to give it up for the inconvenience of it feeling dirtier sooner but the difference between the new growth was palpable. I’m going to use it for the next year and see what happens.

(2/20/24) i received and used it last night. the shampoo smells good. the conditioner smells a little weird to me but not necessarily “bad” weird. neither of them smell so strong that the scent lingers or anything though. i don’t notice a huge difference in frizz or anything (but that’s most likely a fault on my part for not knowing how to style my hair lol). my hair does feel cleaner than it would with my old shampoo (native brand). and my hair feels “lighter” if that makes sense. like it’s not being weighed down by any residues or anything like that. so far i like it :) as for thickening-results, i’ll obviously have to wait to share that. so i’m setting a reminder on my phone to remind me to update this review every 3 months, maybe for the next year or so, with pictures and whatnot. (2/26/24) i know i said id right a review 3 months from now (and i still will) but i wanted to mention that i’ve washed my hair twice now with this stuff and my hair is definitely feeling softer. like silky soft. i love it :) (6/27/24) sooo i finally caved and saw a curly hair specialist ($$$ 😮‍💨). i’ve only ever gotten trims—never a haircut. but my hair had gotten so long (past my butt) that all that weight pulled the curl out of my hair. plus, as i mentioned before, idk how to style my hair lol so i needed help from a curly hair specialist to figure out what the heck to do with my mane. i won’t belabor all the details she shared with me, but apparently *another* reason my curls were kind of limp was because of certain products i was using (like shea moisture leave in conditioner, for example). my hair in particular needs a water based, light, “airy” kind of moisture, NOT a heavy, oil-based product that would only cause my hair to lay flat. anyways, the hair stylist asked what shampoo/condish i used, and i showed her this, and she said that this would be good to use once in a while to “deep clean,” but that i shouldn’t use it on a regular basis. ACV cleans VERY thoroughly, so it will remove all the build up of products and everything, which is good! but if you use it too frequently, it can be too drying and leave your hair more vulnerable to damage and whatnot. so as of now, i’m using R+Co shampoo/condish as per her recommendation, and using the ACV products like once a month or so. my hair still feels soft and silky :) i have not necessarily noticed an increase in thickness, although i can’t say that that’s a fault of the product, since im using it far less frequently now. my hair is very thick to begin with. my concern was that my hair began to thin out near my temples (probably due to autoimmune issues.. which a shampoo cannot fix on its own anyway lol). anyways, this may or may not be my last review. i just wanted to conclude that i like this product a lot! and to share what my hair stylist said about overusing this, which, you’re welcome to do with that info as you please. just food for thought :)

This shampoo and conditioner is absolutely incredible. Hair loss was a common thing for me and I always chalked it up to my PCOS and just assumed there was nothing I could do since nothing else worked for me. However, I reached a point where I was pulling clumps of hair out of the shower, I was noticing balding along my frontal, and it was so upsetting for me. My husband was already using the apple cider vinegar version of pura d’or and he told me he felt there had to be more to it since I was getting nowhere and to just give this brand a try. I did just that and at first it was frustrating because it made my hair oily quickly which meant I’d have to wash my hair more often. But I decided to stick it out and see if it helped anyways. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and it has absolutely changed my life. Within 1 month I was no longer pulling clumps of hair out in the shower, and I was no longer shedding tons of hair while I brushed my hair in front of the sink. I’ve now reached a point of a normal amount of shedding. Additionally, I was combing through my hair and I noticed that I have some regrowth!!! Within just 3 months the hair I’ve lost is starting to grow back. My hair is also so silky and soft, it smells really good (the conditioner especially smells incredible). I’ve shared a photo to show my regrowth, my hair is pretty fine to begin with and I think that’s why it took me awhile to notice it but you can somewhat see it in the photos. I have more regrowth than what’s visible in the camera, just hard to see since my hair is so thin/fine. Over all I’m so incredibly happy with this product and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to use another shampoo or conditioner. This stuff has been life changing and has started to give me some confidence and peace of mind back! I absolutely recommend this stuff, if you use it you have to be able to get past it being oily and you have to give it time. It takes at least a month to see actual change!!

Ive been using for 2 months now, and i can say it's just alright. The worst thing about it is my hair is very greasy the next day, which is unfortunate. I thought maybe after some time it would improve but it hasn't. In the first week my hair was softer and I noticed a lot less shedding, but i also started a hair skin and nail supplement. I stopped taking the supplement and now I am noticing more hair loss regardless of using the shampoo. My hair also isn't very soft anymore. It's quite course, frizzy and often feels like straw. It was like this prior to starting the shampoo with an excessive amount of shedding, so I don't blame the product for that but it also didn't help. Curl pattern and frizziness is worse than it's ever been, not sure that is a cause of shampoo or if it's just my own personal problem getting worse. I wouldn't buy this product again because it's so so expensive, hasn't done any miracles for loss, and i can't stand the constant greasyness. One thing that did clear up was my dandruff, I have battled with some significant dandruff because my hair can't handle harsh anti-dandruff shampoos. It's been a real battle over the last year and the shampoo did actually clear thar up entirely.

I’ve been using the PURA D’OR Scalp Therapy Shampoo & Conditioner Set for a while now, and it has genuinely made a difference in my hair and scalp health. I used to struggle with dandruff and dryness to the point where I relied on anti‑dandruff shampoos just to keep things under control. After switching to this set, I haven’t needed those products at all. The shampoo cleans well without feeling harsh, and the conditioner leaves my hair noticeably softer and healthier. My scalp stays hydrated, and I no longer deal with flaking or irritation. The formula feels gentle but effective, and the natural ingredients are a nice bonus. The only minor downside is that I go through the shampoo faster than the conditioner — but that might just be the way I use it. I used to use the PURA D'OR Hair Loss Prevention Therapy Premium Organic Argan Oil Shampoo (blue label) and then, for some reason, I swithed to some other well-known, reputable hair care brand. I noticed that I was experiencing a ton of hair fallout and realized it might be due to this other well-known hair care brand. So I decided to try this PURA D'OR Anti-Thinning Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner Natural Earthy Scent (gold label). Why or WHY did did I ever stop using Pura D'or shampoos and conditioners?!? They actually WORK. As soon as I switched over to Pura D'Or, IMMEDIATELY I experienced and noticed way LESS hair loss and fallout whenever washing my hair or brushing and blowdrying my hair. And immediately, my hair felt and looked thicker. Also almost immediately - it legit felt like it was overnight but it probably happened over the course of 2-4 weeks - a ton of little baby hairs and new hair growth started to sprout all over my head, near my hairline and temples, on top of my head, etc. It's kinda unsightly but it's so worth it to know that my hair is actually growing back and my hair volume and health are being restored. I currently use this Pura D'Or Anti-Thinning Biotin Shampoo + Conditioner and I rotate between this set and the PURA D'OR Apple Cider Vinegar Thin2Thick Shampoo (red/pink labels). I'm so thankful my hair is being restored. That said, my only complaint is - although this gold label shampoo is allegedly "color safe," I don't think it is. I am pretty darn sure the Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo is NOT color-safe because it's a clarifying shampoo. But, I don't think ths gold label shampoo is color safe, either. I dye my hair (no bleach, just color + toner) every few months and I noticed that the color has been totally stripped since I started using Pura D'or. Oh well. It's a price worth paying for reducing hair loss and hair thinning. In terms of scent, I do enjoy the scent of this gold label shampoo and conditioner. It is, indeed, "earthy" but it's not at all offensive. Kind of smells woods-y and green. The conditioner texture is interesting - it's not watery but it's not as thick as most other conditioners. Yet, it definitely does moisturizer and soften my hair. (That said, I do have to combine with and layer the PURA D'OR 16 Oz Renewal Argan Oil Conditioner in order to get better detangling benefits since I have very long hair, it reaches to my waist.) Overall, highly recommend Pura D'Or. It's not gimmicky. It actually works.

A great shampoo & conditioner for hair thickening that is free from harmful ingredients! But the price is quite expensive!!

This is the second time that i have ordered the shampoo and conditioner combo it works the best for my hair as i have hair thining and i use them every alternate days and i can see clear results all my dandruf has gone and no my hairs are way healthier than before hair fall also stopped. Would recommend this combo for everyone as it has natural ingredients and it does wonders.

I have very fine hair. Most conditioners will leave knots in my hair after use. This shampoo really cleans your hair and no knots with this conditioner. I am not crazy about the smell, but I love how my hair feels after use.
