Well worth the money. Works well.
So far so good. Starts up easy every time. Drives incredibly fast. We expect years of service from this labor saving driver. Wish we were able to buy it years ago. Will let you know in couplease of hundred posts how it does either way.

It workswell but there are a few things to be aware of
This thing worked well for driving t-posts into dirt. There is not much rock where I was working so that was not an issue for me and I cannot speak to those environments. I was able to drive about 20 post per hour. I did manually dive the posts a few inches into the ground first. That was the most efficient way for me to work. Some of the reviews talk about the "Piling socket" threads stripping. To prevent the piling socket from unscrewing, after I screwed on the socket I wrapped the connection once with duct tape. (see image) The small inner piling head spring-loaded bearings failed after about 40 t-posts. I switched over to the larger one and kept going. I contacted the seller and the they sent me a replacement at no cost. I took a couple of weeks but they did get it to me.

Will fall apart in 3 mos as soon as the warranty runs out. Customer service is non-existent
The ball bearing piece that sits in the head will fall out and not stay in place making it impossible to use. I was just out of my 3 month warranty and customer service after 3 weeks of attempting to contact said it only had a 3 month warranty. product is junk which is too bad it was very hand when it worked it is just poorly made and a waste of money for life of product. If possible i would give it a negative star

works better than I thought it would
I used it to drive 90 T posts in different ground conditions this was money well spent I was surprised at how well it worked . the only down side was that when it was delivered the box looked like UPS had run over it the hard plastic case that it comes in was broken I tried to contact the seller to see if the case could be replaced but I never got a response back .So other than that the driver worked great

You get what you pay for.... sorta.
I was PUMPED about not driving all 40 t-posts manually when I ordered this. But... About 10 posts in I could see the outer can rotating. After each post I drove in, I had to re-tighten the can until it fell off while operating somewhere around the 12th post. As if this wasn't bad enough, by the 14th post the pile fell out; a bearing spring failed. In the end, I had to weld the outer can directly to the driver housing (now I can never use the other size that it came with) and I have to place the pile into the can every single time I use it. In all, I am not thrilled about the lack of durability, but I have now driven 45 t-posts and my back does not hurt at all. ......so, still a win? To add to this, the instructions are garbage! I mean, garbage... Just know that it will say not to use gasoline and then it will tell you to use gasoline. Not joking. I used a standard small engine oil mix. Lastly, be sure you look at the choke image to know whether the choke is engaged or not as it is actually backwards on the label. Once you prime it pressing the gas feed, close the choke, disengage the off switch on the handle, pull the chord 3-5 times, open choke, and pull chord again, it will start up. Mine starts every time. I paid for a non-sore back after 40 t-posts were driven in, so I guess I got what I paid for.... sorta.

Well worth the money
We bought this because we were planning on putting up a field fence using t-posts at our new house for our dogs. It's December in Michigan and we were concerned about trying to pound in the posts manually in potentially frozen ground. This was well worth what we paid for it. We had no problems pounding the posts in the ground with this. It also started right up the second day and when we came back a few days later even with the frigid temps.

Works as Expected Except When It Doesn't
It works well. It does not drive a T-Post through solid glade rock; I will have to drill those. But, it does a good job of pounding them through our very rocky soil here in the Ozarks.UPDATE - The first time I used this it worked well and I set a dozen or so T-Posts. The second time I used it, the threads stripped in the Piling socket, and the spring-loaded bearings in the inner piling head failed after setting only a few posts. I noticed another reviewer had the same issue. I thought about following his lead and welding the socket on the machine, but then I would have the same issue that reviewer has with the loose inner piling head. Placing the inner piling head in the socket before each post sounds like a pain in the tuckus and also sounds like it will probably lead to other issues. So, I decided to contact the seller to see about purchasing a replacement socket and inner piling head. They replied quickly telling me they did not have any parts for sale. They were also quick to point out that I was past the 90 warranty which I already knew and hadn't asked about. While this thing works well when it works, I don't recommend purchasing it because when it doesn't work the seller does not stand behind the product with any kind of follow-up service. To be clear, I am not saying that because the 90-day warranty is out of date but because of the unavailability of parts for a $350 machine. Parts for tools are generally available even when the tool costs a lot less than this one. In total, I used this to set less than 20 T-posts. Considering the cost of this machine, I paid about $17.50 per post set. I could have paid someone $70 per hour to set the same number of posts and ended up with the same out of pocket expense. This is not worth the money since one can't get parts for it. Even the best-made tools (which this isn't) eventually need parts/repairs. If you are in the market for a disposable pile driver, this is the machine for you. Otherwise, it's a risky gamble.
