Oem Approved Brushable Asphalt-Bitumen Base Undercoating - GALLON

Yes it is very thick its more like tar than paint I would of liked it to be more like paint. But it seem very durable I used it on my brand new car because I live in NH and we use a lot of salt in the winter time and our cars get rusted bad. I heated the can up in front of my torpedo space heater for a good 30 minutes while mixing it periodically. That helped with the application then I used a paint brush to put it on. There's no way you can run this through a paint gun.

This Undercoating works very well and dries pretty solid. I had to apply it with a wide putty knife, there was no way I seen it could have been applied with a brush. I did two front floor pans on a Comet and still have little under half left. Great product just little messy to work with, def suggest you wear gloves!

This product is really thick. It is not brushable at ALL!! I read some of the reviews and I just don't know how others brushed this on. My brush was stiff but could not use it. I ended up having to use a metal trowel. AND it's a mess to work with. It's so thick that my wheel well looked horrible, it's not smooth at all, it now looks like there was damage to it because it's so lumpy. I ended up scraping it off. It says not to thin down but I'm going to have to or throw the rest of the can away. I feel that I've wasted money on this.

I applied with a spatula and some home made tools to coat round edges of steel undercarriage.dried well but still remained soft, excellent product!

I'm doing my truck over and needed a product that would give me great protection. It is a bit thicker and spreads best with heavier 4" brush. Best if you use during temperatures between 72-85 degrees. Covers easily and goes on thick. I love how it applies and believe this product will give long term satisfaction.
