Novelties Women's Egyptian Costume Accessory Asp Snake Beaded Headpiece

I purchased this for my granddaughter and included brief vignettes about Queen Nefertiti and Cleopatra VII. She was delighted. This headdress is lovely, is constructed to fit most heads, and a great purchase! Can be used for play, saved for Halloween, passed on to another child (or adult--her Mother loved it too), or a costume event. Quite satisfied with the quality, well made, great price.

First let me say that I was incredibly skeptical about ordering this product. It looked cheesy to me and I didn't like the angle of the snake, but after reading the reviews my husband encouraged me to go ahead and order it. I am glad that I did! For the price it's a pretty good piece and the snake has a wire inside so the angle is adjustable. The back of the head band is elastic and fits well. I am happy that I purchased this headpiece and think it's an excellent accessory for my Cleopatra costume.

Perfect! Don't know what people were talking about saying it is for youth - I have a large head and it fit perfectly! Just the right touch for my costume. Beads looked great and no issues with them. Wore it 3 times this year and was a hit each time!

Decent costume piece, fits well and is comfortable to wear for a couple hours or so. However, the beaded strands are not very sturdy, as with mine, they kept falling off. Looks very shiny and flashy. Cobra head is posable.

Thankfully this headpiece came enclosed in a plastic bag. The majority of the dangling beaded strings were broken and the beads spilled off into the bag. I poured the beads into a bowl and devoted significant time (about one hour a day for 3 days) to restringing the beads and then re-attaching them to the headpiece. It shipped quickly and was well but honestly the product itself was garbage. Save your money and buy something from a store that you can see and inspect.

These accessories were the perfect compliment to my Cleopatra costume. They are well made . The headpiece was very comfortable to wear.

I purchased this because I needed an attention-grabbing headpiece for my Cleopatra costume. 2 small details that are more for a person's personal preference. I didn't love the snake. I felt it made the piece look cheap. But it was a quick fix - I took it to a tailor to cut and just made it look like it was never there. Second, the vertical beads in front annoyed my eyes. I was going to cut two from each side but friends told me it would look like there was a gap between the short ones. So the same tailor tightened the elastic a bit so that now the beads were a little further from my eyes and it was perfect. Other than that I loved it and it helped complete the outfit. I took it on and off several times and it held up very well. No issues at all.

Beads are very pretty and dramatic touch to the Cleopatra costume. Snake is cute. However, thread used was either so old or so cheap that some of it disintegrated. Before I even got it out of the package, beads were falling off all over. I ended up re-stringing about half of the strands because I didn't have enough time to request a replacement before Halloween. Nice costume piece, but maybe they could spend the extra few cents per item to use better thread.
