Whole Grain Brown Rice Penne Pasta, Whole Grain Pasta, 12 Oz, 4 Pack

I have tried so many GF pastas that have turned out to be pretty bad, but this one is a keeper! It tastes great, reheats well, and is nutritious since it is made with brown rice. My Italian husband will even eat it!

I’ve had to be gluten free almost 2 years now, so still feeling out some things, but this has been my favorite pasta so far.

This is THE BEST gluten free pasta I have ever eaten! I’ve been gluten intolerant (I’m also allergic to corn and soy) since 1991, so I was GF before it was “cool”. Since my diet is limited, I tried but miserable failed at making my own pasta. I’ve spent up to $15 a bag to try to find a decent rice pasta. Well, the search is over because I’ve found that pasta that my soul LOVES!!! Not only is the texture and flavor amazing, but the price is totally AFFORDABLE! It’s easy to make, and it goes well with all types of sauces. I’ve also used it for baked pasta dishes, and it holds up as well in the oven as it does simply boiled. And something else that is unlike any other GF pasta that I’ve tried: this is just as good as leftovers as it was when it was fresh. No other GF pasta holds up that well. I just can’t say enough about how great this pasta is.... so just try it! You will not be disappointed. You can thank me later!! 😍 🍝

I love this gluten free pasta. I'm gluten and dairy free, as well as following the Low FODMAP diet, and these noodles (all the versions I have tried) have been my absolute favorite brand so far in my journey. This is the most like the traditional pasta I have found and the suggested cooking times are right on the mark! Many other brands I find I either need to take away time or add time to the manufacturer's suggestions to make them not fall apart or soft enough to eat without a grainy crunch. But Jovial noodles are great in their recommended time. I have used them mostly for warm dishes, but have used them a few times for cool dishes or as leftovers and they seem to do well chilled or rewarmed too, which is another rarity in the gluten free world.

Every review I'd read of this pasta was glowing, so we thought we'd try it. I've been gluten free for almost two years, and so far, we've tried Trader Joe's, Tinkyada, Schar, Bionaturae, and Le Veneziane pastas. We assumed Jovial would quickly become our favorite. Instead, we found it somewhat disappointing. The flavor is very nice, but the texture was disappointingly similar to the other brown rice pastas we'd tried. We were careful to follow the timing recommendations on the box too. I have several more boxes, so if I make Jovial again with better results, I'll update this review. Meanwhile, our favorite pasta remains Le Veneziane.

My gluten intolerance always brings me back to this brand of pasta. It cooks up wonderfully and tastes great, can’t tell the difference from the white flour pasta.

Many years ago I started following Anthony William Medical Medium. I have learned so much thanks to him and, among other things, I have learned **gluten feeds viruses, bacteria and all kinds of pathogens.** My quest for gluten free/dairy free/egg free products has continued. I made these penne rigate and I am absolutely in love with the taste and top notch quality of this pasta. No wonder! It's made in Italy!! In only 12 minutes I got these perfectly "al dente" and the taste is great. All in all: gluten free, dairy free, egg free, organic and such great taste! I will continue buying this brand.

At the age of 36 I just had to switch to a gluten free diet due to allergies. Before this I was a total carboholic and lived on breads and pastas. I have to be honest in saying that when I switched to rice pasta I felt aside from the texture I wasn't missing out on anything I mean...I thought that pasta was just a vehicle for great sauces. I originally received a free sample of this product when someone directed me to their website. From the first taste I realized that I had been missing the flavor of regular pasta....somehow this rice pasta is different from the rest both in texture and taste. It really tastes JUST LIKE regular wheat pasta. The texture and firmness seems to hold up a lot better too. I'm not sure how they did this but I'm so glad they did. I have been eating nothing but this brand of pasta now for a while and have no interest in even trying any other GF pasta. So basically...if you can't eat gluten eat this pasta...and especially if you have had to recently change to a GF diet after years of eating regular wheat pasta then this really is the choice for you.
