Finally, after trying 4 other brushes & two types of mitts, I'm so glad I gave this a try on my Red Heeler. He's got that double coat, sheds 24/7/365, and when he shakes it's like Pigpen on Charlie Brown cartoons with a cloud of hair wafting around him. The other brushes tended to pull and he'd get irritated & walk away. With this Sleek brush he sits down and lets me brush him tip to tale, then he lays down& shows his belly so I can brush that too. It takes off a couple fistfuls of hair with each brushing! He lets me brush him every day, so it's really reducing the amount of loose hair stirring up when friends pet him. For us it works best when I brush him with the label facing his coat.

Quality product! You would not believe the amount of hair it picks up. My cats are shedding for summer, and thanks to this brush, I am removing a second cat from their backs. Very easy to grip, very easy to clean, and it leaves my cats feeling super soft? Also, they come back for more. Like, two of them have figured out a time of day to walk up to me and ask for brushing, and then they purr and meow like they're at the spa. Five stars from humans and cats alike.

I’ve tried many different dog brushes in the past and I thought a few of them were effective. But that was before I tried this one. This is without a doubt the absolute best dog brush on the market. And the very best thing is that they like it. I took more hair and undercoat off my girls today than I’d done in weeks. And I do it every day so it’s unbelievable that there was that much left from yesterday. So if you buy only one brush buy this one. You will be amazed!

I recently bought the SleekEZ Dog Brush for my short-haired dog, and it’s been fantastic! This brush does an amazing job at removing loose hair, which has significantly reduced shedding around the house. The wave pattern design is really effective at grabbing hair without irritating my dog’s skin, and it’s easy to use. I’ve noticed less hair on the furniture, and my dog seems to enjoy being brushed with it.The brush is also very easy to clean after use, and it works quickly to get through grooming sessions without any hassle. While it's perfect for removing loose hair from the outer coat, it doesn’t go as deep into the undercoat, but it’s still very effective for everyday shedding control. Overall, I’m really happy with this brush. It’s a great tool for keeping shedding under control and helping with regular grooming. Highly recommend for short-haired dogs!

Bought this for our dog (a 45 pound rescue w short hair) to replace an older brush we misplaced. This one is smaller and works much better. You could probably make your own with a piece of wood and an older jigsaw blade (that's honestly what this looks like it's made from), but this is worth purchasing to save yourself the effort. The wood handle is easy to hold and handle, and our dog loves getting brushed. It's shocking how much loose hair this picks up.

I almost had to formally apologize to my neighbors for the floofnado that happened after just a couple of minutes of brushing. My dog is a husky/shepherd mix and woke up like he had been hibernating all winter when his floof factory went into full summer production. This brush quickly cleared the fur and was gentle enough that he just thought he was getting a good pet. Recommend using outside and be careful of how the wind is blowing.

I don't often write Amazon reviews unless I think the item is incredible lol so that alone tells you something. If you have short haired animals that are shedding and regular brushes don't work for their fur... I promise you this one does. It even works on my pit's hair and he really doesn't have much. This was about 30 seconds of brushing my short haired cat! It's so satisfying I keep going back and forth between my 3 pets. The trick is to do repeated short quick brush strokes, if you do long ones down their back (like a regular brush) it won't work as well

I’m loving this. I’ve probably used most types of dog brushes. I have a 20 pound short haired dog who blows his coat and makes a big mess. But I also have an 80 pound curly coated retriever who sheds all year round. When I brush the curly coat, would always ruin the curls and she hated the feel of the brush. This one works great on her coat at pulling out the dead stuff without ruining her curls and being much more comfortable for her. It’s also making a huge difference on my little guy who also doesn’t enjoy being brushed but tolerates this better than what we were doing before. I’m really glad I happen to come across this and would definitely recommend it regardless of coat style.
