Storelli BodyShield Sleeveless Undershirt | Protective Soccer Base Layer | Lightweight Compression Top | Padded Chest and Rib Protection

Really, really want to like this product, but it falls a little short. First, playing a mix of field and keeper led me to this over the long sleeve keeper shirt. I am 6’/185#/43” chest wearing a large. Fits well in front, but loose in back, either due to padding or strength of stretch material. Not sure if this affects performance of padding, but I purchased this following a rib bruise and have subsequently suffered two more (sternum and lower) wearing it. The padding either needs to be doubled or reinforced with something more firm. There are also significant areas that have no coverage. Wore football flak jackets for years and was expecting something similar, but lighter and less protective. Not sure what this protects, and it definitely doesn’t give me confidence.

My son has zero fear and I need to keep him safe. Only issue is when he’s wearing this he has even less fear and gets more physical. Great for protecting and building confidence as he’s not as worried about getting hurt.

Storelli makes the best protective gear and we are very loyal to this brand because its durability, awesome padding and design. My son (goalkeeper) has been wearing Storelli shorts for many years and we have finally expanded to include this. He did not like the version with sleeves - too constricting, difficult to get into, and much too hot. This item is the solution! Works great and he loves it. He is 5'11" with a very thin build. He wears the adult small and is very happy with the fit.

Got this for my daughter to inspire confidence in her dives. After two straight days of dive training, she had no bruises and wasn’t sore. It’s not super thick padding, but enough to build confidence. Combined with proper technic. This is a great padded shirt for keepers.

I like the product it's comfortable but I wish it had the padding on the spine area especially on the lumber area going into the sacral area of the spine.

The fit was good. Ordered small for our son, he's 5'7" and 145 pounds. However, rib protection is only in the front and we thought the back ribs/kidney area would provide protection and this does not.

Excellent protection for field soccer players especially defenders that do a lot of slide tackling

I bought this product for my son that was coming back from a broken clavicle and he likes it a lot.
