Mini Portable Speaker, 3W Mobile Phone Speaker with Clear Bass, 3.5mm AUX Interface, Plug and Play for iPhone, Smartphone, IPad, Computer

I have an old android phone and the sound quality is poor. I don't listen to music from my phone. However, I watch a lot of youtube videos and some of the sound quality from random videos are either too low or poor. Like a lot of the phones in the past...the speaker is in the back (always have to cup your hand around it for sound to travel to the front) Anyway, this portable amplified speaker fixed all that. The sound is incredible! I have recorded inflight footage in the bombardiers seat of a Boeing B-29 Superfortress ( FIFI ) and the the sound from the speaker make my hair stand up! The sounds from inside the cabin and the engines coming from the speaker was awesome!! Features and info: The speaker is very lightweight. Comes with a white 5 or 6 inch USB charging cord. The my speaker was pre-charged when received. The speaker is all plastic and the back features a recessed rubber backing with a on and off push button. A little blue light will illuminate when the pushing the button to on. When charging, it will illuminate red and shut off when fully charged. Advice: When plugging in to charge..hold the outer round housing. Not the back, you may accidentally turn it on when plugging it in. Do the same when handling it around ( like in a tote or coat pocket ) Charge time was quick and had it in my phone for an hr or so with no issues.

The speaker looks and feels well made. It plugs into your audio device (cell phone, tablet, or whatever) and produces a sizable increase in volume. The volume level is controlled by the audio device being used and is loud enough for small groups or listening to in running vehicles with excessive ambient noise.It has a nonremovable rechargeable battery and is recharged via a standard "non-iPhone" cell-phone USB cable. The cable that accompanies the speaker is only about 10 inches long, which should be long enough if you are plugging it into a laptop or desktop for recharging. If you need a longer cable, simply use the one you recharge your phone with.The speaker is switched on and off via a button on the rear-center of the speaker. When it is on, there is a tiny blue indicator light inside the black mesh surrounding the button. If it turns red, the speaker needs to be recharged. While recharging, it is best to turn off the speaker. While recharging, the indicator light will stay red until it is fully charged, at which time it will turn off. (There are actually two separate lights for this function - one blue and one red)This external speaker is a good value for the money. Although it is completely functional and well made, some people may feel it looks strange plugged into a cell-phone because of its size. If you need a "comfort-device" in public and require something more stylish, you probably already have an audio device that doesn't need a personal extension speaker anyway. I have been extremely pleased with mine. You won't be disappointed.

It may be a bit larger than is optimal, but workable. Great sound, and easy to use.

The media could not be loaded. Look, I wasn't expecting a Bose quality speakers. I was expecting a possibly muffled, no bass sound since the price is very affordable.However, the static fuzz coming from the speaker is so loud it over powers what I want to be listening to. This isn't acceptable quality whatsoever. I'm actually making the listening experience worse.I tried to deal with it, I tried using an extension cord thinking maybe it was a connection issue but still, loud static as soon as I hit play, even if nothing is happening on screen.I'm not sure if I was sent a defective device or if this is the standard but if it's the latter DON'T BUY imo. At least from what I'm experiencing atm.

Note: I would return this if I had not found a workaround.Reason: Used Trifield EMF/RF meter and this product emit RF Microwave Frequencies as high as 18G. I had to use it from inside of a Mission Darkness Cellphone Faraday Pouch while listening to this speaker on a basic cheap MP3 Player that has no wifi capability, yet also emits RF frequencies (test all products even if they aren't a wifi product). If you are purchasing this to use with a cell phone, you are going to fry even more. For those that aren't concerned with RF frequencies, I guess it would be perfect for you while on calls or listening to music, etc.Result With Faraday Cage Pouch: I use this from inside of a faraday pouch with a basic MP3 player which resulted in a very small amount of RF frequencies (0.005 Gs). The sound is great from inside of the faraday pouch and crystal clear. The sound is also very crisp! I was totally surprised that this tiny speaker has such a full sound and loud volume. I'm giving this product a 5 rating due to performance and because I found a workaround for the RF frequencies.

For the size and ease, the sound is good, but by normal use of putting it in and out of the device, the aux connection has bent and now doesn't work. If you plan to leave it connected and it's in a place where it's not likely to get bumped, it's great but if you're going to be inserting and reconnecting it often, it's not the best choice for you.

I do like it as it's small to fit my MP3 Player but it's the sound I'm having a hard time with, there's alot of back-ground noise ( Static ) comming from the speaker when you turn it on & it disrupts the sound of the songs being played. I wish that I could either get another one to replace this one I have, but most likely I would have to pay for another speaker in which I don't feel that I have to when this one does work but the Static Noise from it. Also the advertisement of quality bass, their is none, I have adjusted the EQ on my player & still nothing, not sure if this speaker is a deffect of some sorts, again more over I would have to buy a new speaker, I'm stuck on this issue..
