Review: Very good quality sound for not a lot of money - Vintage Goodmans PC amp/speaker system getting past it so looking around for a quiter, less crackly replacement for the last year or so. Couldn't find anything appealing enough out of the box so after some cogitating bought this Lepy-LP-168S 2.1 amp to pair with some stuff in the loft. In the end, dusted off a couple of old Technics three-way bookshelf speakers and a defunct Tannoy sub with a working 10" long-throw subwoofer - both from the early nineties. Absolutely delighted/gobsmacked with the results; this £30 system (for the Lepy LP-168S amp) runs my 'flagship' Marantz amp and Ditton 44 speaker pairing very close indeed with digital and is only marginally bettered on analogue (faster at the bottom end but sometimes just a little strident at the top). Amazing sonic resolution and understated power from the Lepy amp - even working hard with Danny Thompson's inimitable bass line on John Martyn's 'Solid Air'. This is a very good amplifier, indeed - particularly for under £30. Review: mini ampli stereo - Buona resa sonora, non distorce, ottimo il volume soobwoofer a parte
