Got this for my son for college. Nice and long and great quality.

I bought for my husband as a gift a while ago, and now he asked me to buy one more, so it means he loves it!

I bought it for my 106 year old father-in-law and he loves it.

We use these robes when we use our hot tub, getting in and out on cold days. They are decent and seem to hold up well as we put them in the dryer after we use them. I would not say they are super soft, but soft enough.

I purchased this bathrobe to use when I take a shower. I'm elderly so it's nice to step out of the shower, put this on so I don't get chilly, sit down and take my time drying off from top to bottom. I purchased the largest size so it's easy to get into with a wet body. I can wrap it around me like a great big towel. I have a really nice heavy weight Turkish terrycloth robe but it's a normal size for my body to wear around the house. When you get out of the shower your wet body has a tendency to stick to the robe so I wanted lots and lots of extra room to make it easy to get on. If you're looking for a robe to just wear around then I think it's safe to say you can choose the size you normally pick for your body size. Considering how large the xx lg size is, I'd say the robes are roomy.I purchased the Dusty Olive color. It's a warm and relaxing color...not yuky. I washed it in warm water and dried it on a medium setting before wearing. The color did not run and it did not shrink. However...it did shed quite a bit in the first wash. That happens when I buy new flannel shirts for my husband too. I always have to wash his shirts twice to get all the exces lint out of new flannel. Hint...I didn't want all that heavy lint going down my drain so I used a strainer with a long handle to scoop the lint floating on top of the water as it went through the rinse cycle. I'd say I got a good hand full of lint during the first wash. I cleaned the lint trap in my dryer twice during the drying too. I really don't expect that to happen the next time I wash it. I have a top loading washer so it agitates as apposed to the gentle rolling motion of a front loading machine. The robe held up well to washing. After I took a shower, I turned the robe inside out and threw it in the dryer for about 15 mins to dry it completely. That way it won't get musty between washings once a week.It seems to be very well made. The terrycloth is a medium weight and it's very absorbent. By the way, I used a cup of vinegar in the first of two rinses. That really makes material like this so soft. It will be comfortable to use all year round. If I have any problems with this robe during the first year of use, I'll come back and let you know but I think this is going to wear well.

Excellent value. I did order a blue but received a red but no matter. I'm 5' 10" and 135lb so I ordered a small medium a perfect fit. Always hated those one size fits all. The fabric is just right ..... warm but not to hot.
